Ch 16 Aster Vs Sartorius

Jaden and the rest of the gang ran to the white dorm where Sartorius was and they saw Aster go into the main door. They went in and saw that Aster was about to duel Sartorius. Chazz, on the other hand, was kicking butt in the tournament. Jaden and the gang was about to see a duel between friends. Aster said "well friend it is time to free you from this evil that is controlling you." Sartorius said "wrong, you are going to hand over the key and accept that your world and all worlds will see the light." Aster said "we are going to duel and the winner gets the key." Aster threw the key in the middle of the room and started his duel disk.

Both Aster and Sartorius said "duel." Sartorius said "my turn, I draw. I summon Arcana Force III - The Empress. in attack mode (1300atk). Now that the monster has been summoned, the card begins to rotate and I predict that it will land right side up. What do you know, I was correct. Who could have thought of that. Oh wait, me. Now, with my monster's ability when it is right side up, I can summon one Arcana Force monster from my hand if you summon a monster, Aster. With that I will end my turn with a face down."

Aster said "my turn, I draw. I summon Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude in defense mode (1600def)." Sartorius said "due to the effect of my Empress I can now summon another card from my hand and I choose Arcana Force IV - The Emperor. Now it will rotate and will land right side up. Well, well, it looks like I am right again. Now seeing that the card is right side up, all of my Arcana Force monsters will gain 500 attack points." Aster said "I activate the effect of Diamond Dude to reveal the top card of my deck and if it is a normal spell card, I can send it to the grave and use it next round. I will play one card face down and end my turn."

Sartorius said "my turn, I draw. I summon Arana Force VII - The Chariot in attack mode (1700 goes up to 2200atk). Now the card will rotate and it will land right side up. Now if my monster destroys one of your monsters in battle, I can special summon that monster to my side of the field. Now, Chariot destroy Diamond Dude." Aster said "I play my face down Destiny Signal to special summon Destiny Hero - Defender in defense mode (2700def)." Due to the effect of the Chariot, Sartorius summons Diamond Dude from Aster's grave and summons him in attack mode (1400atk). With that Sartorius ends his turn.

Aster said "my turn, I draw. Due to the effect of Diamond Dude I can use the effect of Destiny Draw by discarding Destiny Hero - Double Dude and I get to draw two cards. I summon Destiny Hero - Dunker in defense mode (1700def)." Sartorius uses the effect of the Empress by sacrificing his Empress and Diamond Dude to summon Arcana Force XVIII - The Moon in attack mode (2800atk). The monster begins to rotate and lands right side up. Now with each standby phase he can special summon one moon token. Aster then uses the effect of Dunker to discard Destiny Hero Disk Commander to inflict 500 points of damage. Aster sets one card and ends his turn.

Sartorius said "my turn, I draw. Due to the effect of your Destiny Hero - Defender I am allowed to draw anther card. Now I use Arcana Force XVIII - The Moon to gain one moon token (0def). Now I tribute my moon token and Arcana Force VII - The Chariot to summon Arcana Force XXI - The World in attack mode (3100atk). Now it begins to rotate and it lands right side up so now I  can send two monsters from my field to the grave so that I can skip your turn."

Sartorius destroys all of Aster's monsters and was going to attack him directly but Aster used D - Fortune by removing Dunker from his grave to end the battle phase. Then Sartorius used The World effect by sending The Emperor and The Moon to the grave to skip Aster's next turn. Then Sartorius draws and attacks Aster directly.

Aster said "my turn, I draw. I activate Doctor D effect by removing from play Destiny Hero - Defender from my grave. I can summon Disk Commander from by grave in defense mode (300def). Now that Disk Commander was summoned from the grave I get to draw 2 new cards. I summon Destiny Hero - Doom Lord in defense mode (800def). Now I can send you Arcana Force XXI - The World, two turns ahead but I can't attack this turn. I play D - Formation now. If a Destiny Hero on my field is destroyed I add a D cointer to D - Formation. I end my turn."

Sartorius said "my turn, I draw. I play Necro Sacrifice to target my Arcana Force XV - The Fiend and I special summon Arcana Force IV - The Emperor and Arcana Force III - The Empress to your side of the field and you get the choice of which mode they are in." Aster said "defense." Both the monsters begin to rotate. Both monsters land upside down, so if Sartorius summons a monster, Aster has to send a card from his hand to the graveyard. Also, all Arcana Force monsters lose 500 attack points. Sartorius summons Arcana Force XV - The Fiend in attack mode (2500atk). The monster card begins to rotate and lands right side up.  So now when The Fiend attacks one of Aster's monsters is destroyed and Aster takes 500 points of damage.

Sartorius attacks and destroys The Emperor and The Fiend effect activates, destroying Doom Lord. But Aster gains one D counter on D - Formation. Aster then said "my turn, I draw. I tribute my Disk Commander to summon Destiny Hero - Dasher in attack mode (2100atk). I now tribute The Empress so that Dasher gains 1000 attack points. Now Dasher attack The Fiend. Now that that is taken care of, my monster switches into defense mode and I will end my turn."

Sartorius said "my turn, I draw. I play Reverse Reborn to bring back Arcana Force XV - The Fiend and now I will attack your Dasher. With that I will play one card face down and end my turn." Aster said "my turn, I draw."  Arcana Force XXI - The World is returned to Sartorius' side of the field (3100/3100) in Attack Position due to the effect of Doom Lord. Aster then Normal Summons D3 (0/0) in Attack Position. Since Aster summoned a monster. he activates the second effect of D - Formation, sending the card to the Graveyard in order to add 2 more D3s from his Deck to his hand. Aster then Activates the effect of D3, sending the two D3s in his hand to the Graveyard in order to treat the D3 on the field as three Tributes for the summon of a Destiny Hero monster. Aster Tributes his D3 to summon Destiny Hero - Plasma in attack mode. Now Plasma equips itself with Arcana Force XXI - The World and in doing so increases its attack to (3450atk).

Aster then activates D - Force and places the latter face-up on the top of his deck. Now, Aster must skip all of his draw phases each turn, but in exchange, all face-up effect Monsters on Sartorius' side of the field will have their effects negated and Destiny Hero - Plasma is granted immunity to Sartorius' Spell and Trap Cards. Plasma attacks directly but Sartorius discards Arcana Force XIV - Temperance from his hand in order to take no battle damage. Aster then activates the effect of D - Burst from his Graveyard. removing it from play in order to decrease the ATK of Destiny Hero - Plasma by 1000 points so now Plasma attacks again.

Sartorius draws and plays The Sky Lord. He then activates his face-down The Material Lord as there are level 4 or below Arcana Force monsters in his graveyard. Sartorius then activates his face-down The Spiritual Lord as there is a level 6 or level 5 Arcana Force monster in his graveyard.

Sartorius then activates The Sky Lord as there are level 7 or above Arcana Force monsters in his Graveyard. Sartorius then activates the final effect of The Sky Lord, sending The Material Lord, The Spiritual Lord, and The Sky Lord to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler (4000/4000) in Attack Position. The Light Ruler attacks and destroys Destiny Hero - Plasma.

With that, the duel is over and Sartorius has one of the two keys to the satellite. Jaden then said "we will duel now, Sartorius, for the fate of the world." Sartorius smiled and prepared to duel again.
