Ch 10 Broken Love

The field trip ended and Jaden and the gang, expept for Chazz, were hanging out at the Slifer Dorm and Alexis said "let's duel, Jaden, you and me. But I forgot my deck so how about we go over to the Obelisk Dorm and get it." As the gang made their way to the dorm they saw someone thrown on the ground. The people throwing the person were not wearing blue uniforms but white. Jaden and the rest of the gang rushed to help the guy. It turned out to be Atticus and he told them that the people in the Blue Dorm had lost their minds, that when they saw Chazz, they all said "all hail the light."

Jaden said "NO, Chazz is on their side?" Alexis had seen enough and said "Chazz, I challenge you to a duel." Chazz smiled and said "I accept and when you lose, you will see the light and leave this loser of a husband and stay at my side as my queen." Jaden got angry but Alexis looked at Jaden and they looked into each others eyes and they knew that everything would be alright. Alexis got her cards and then they went to the main arena and began the duel for the Blue Dorm.

Chazz said "my turn, I draw. I play Infernal White. Now I must play my hand revealed to you and each standby faze for you.You take 600 points of damage. Now, I summon Armed Dragon LV 3 in attack mode (1200atk). Then I will end my turn with a face down." Alexis said "my turn, I draw." Alexis loses 600 life points. Alexis said "I summon Cyber Tutu in attack mode (1000atk) and I equip her with Angel Wing. Now attack Chazz directly. Seeing that I inflicted battle damage, you lose another three hundred points due to the effect of Angel Wing. I end my turn with two cards face down." Chazz said "I play my face down, Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy one of your face downs."

Chazz said "my turn, I draw. I play Level Down and now I can normal summon Armed Dragon LV 5 in attack mode (2400atk). Now Armed Dragon Lv 5 attack and destroy that Cyber Tutu. Now my next attack is a direct attack by Armed Dragon LV 3. You only have 800 points left and I activate my Armed Dragon LV 5 ablity to LV up to Armed Dragon LV 7 in attack mode (2800atk). So give up already." Alexis said "Never. My turn, I draw. I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards." Alexis lost another 600 life points due to the effect of Infernal White. Alexis said "I normal summon Cyber Petit Angel in attack mode (300atk). Now that I have summoned this monster I can add a Machine Angel Ritual from my deck and add it to my hand. Now, I activate Machine Angel Ritual. I now tribute my Cyber Petit Angel and Cyber Prima. Now, I can ritual summon Cyber Angel Dakini in attack mode (2700atk). Now that she has been summoned, you are forced to destroy one of your own monsters."

Chazz chose his Armed Dragon LV 3 and Alexis ends her turn with two face downs. Chazz said "my turn, I draw. I play Magical Mallet to return my two cards to my deck, shuffle and draw the same amount of cards that were in my hand. I tribute my Armed Dragon LV 7 so that I can summon Armed Dragon LV10 in attack mode (3000atk). Now I equip Armed Dragon with White Veil. Now Armed Dragon attack her angel." Alexis said "not so fast, I play my trap Double Passe." Chazz laughed and said "White Veil protects my monster from traps and spells, so, Double Passe and all of your cards are destroyed."

Alexis watched in horror as her Cyber Angel was destroyed and all of her life points were gone. Jaden and Atticus rushed over to her side and tried to cheer her up. Atticus said "you did your best Lex and that is nothing to be ashamed about. I am still proud of you." Alexis got up and said "I wanted to lose. I have now seen the light thanks to Chazz." Then the worst thing in the world happened and Jaden lost it. Alexis kissed Chazz on the cheek. Jaden said "what about me Alexis, don't I get a kiss?"

Alexis said "no, I hate you. If you're not in the Society of Light then I hate all of you. As for you Jaden I never wanted to be your wife. Being married to you was the worst idea I have ever had. Now that I am in the Society of Light, I consider myself married to it and not to you. So, get lost, Jaden. I don't ever want to see your face around here again." She did something that completely broke Jaden. She took off her wedding ring and threw it at him. Jaden caught the ring and looked at it and began to cry. Jaden then ran away from the arena and everyone that was not in the Society of Light chased after him. Jaden was all alone and he was angry at Chazz for doing that to Alexis but then he realized that it was not Chazz's, fault, it was Sartorius' fault. Jaden then made a vow that he would not give in to the light and that he would do anything to save his Alexis and his friend.
