I had spent nearly a week in the hospital, they said what I was experiencing was shock, and I was. They said that I was going through post dramatic stress and the feelings I were feeling weren't real.

They asked me so many questions about Harry, of course they didn't know his name, and I didn't feel compelled to give them one. I was protecting him, and I didn't know why, finally I had been given my chance to turn him in and I didn't say a word.

A woman with a strawberry blonde bob came into my hospital room, she pulled up a chair sitting next to me, "How are you Maisy, I'm detective Gruper, and I wanted to know if I could ask you a few questions."

I nodded my head.

"So you were taken months ago, in mid September is that correct."

"Yes."

"Was it a group or a single person who kidnapped you?" She asked pursing her lips.

"One." I stated clearly.

She nodded jotting some notes on her pad, "This act was completely non-consensual, he took you against your will correct?"

"Correct."

"Where were you when you were taken?"

"I-I don't know I was walking down some street..." I lied.

"What street Maisy, why were you walking? Do you remember that?"

"It was, I-I don't remember."

"You lived here all your life, you can't remember what street?"

"No it was not in town I was in the city... I don't know know, I don't want to answer any more questions please." I said getting upset.

"Please Maisy just answer a few-"

"-No I'm not answering any more of your questions. You have no idea, you don't know him, what he's been through. Leave me alone." I shouted.

She took a long breath, "okay, if you think of anything please make sure to contact us so we can get who did this to you."

I refused to look at her, as soon as my parents came back into the room I had felt more at peace.

"Can we go now?"

"Yeah, we can go now." My father said placing a hand on my shoulder.

When I finally came home I had a massive headache, everything was so sickeningly familiar, my room completely untouched as if I had never left. I ran my fingers over the soft material of my bedspread before falling against the plush bed.

I began to cry, cry because of all the time and memories, lost. Friends and family I hadn't seen, things I'd never experience from senior year. It was early March, I only had about three months left of school before graduation and had been missing for an entire six months.

It was devastating.

There was a knock at my door, I wasn't in the mood to talk to my parents, or anyone. I just wanted to be left alone.
