The second they arrived in London Harry let out a big breath of relief. He was home again, finally. They settled into his new place pretty quickly, Carrie-Ann couldn't stop looking around - she was really in love with the new house which Harry hoped would mean she may not be so mad when he eventually told her that this was his only place.
The following day, despite the jet lag Carrie-Ann met up with Burberry and Harry met up with Lou and his sister. He was happy to see them again.
"So how is everything going?" Gemma asked biting into her croissant. Harry had ordered poached egg and Lou had ordered avocado on toast.
"Good, really good."
"Not long until the break," Gemma mentioned.
"I'm going to be an emotional wreck," Lou joked as she took a photo of her food. "I can't believe it'll all be over soon."
Harry shrugged. "It'll be happy and sad, I'll be glad to have some time to myself and to spend with Carrie-Ann."
"How is she?" Gemma asked curiously. She had liked Carrie-Ann when she met her.
"She's really good. She's working on her collaboration with Burberry, hence why we're here."
"So you're not staying in London?" Lou asked.
"Erm, well yes but-"
"What have you done?" Gemma breathed, her eyes shut preparing herself for what he was about to admit to. She knew her brother better than anyone else, maybe even better than his own mother.
Harry sighed. "When Carrie-Ann and I briefly split I sold my LA place and bought my new place here,"
The two girls looked at him intently.
"I only have one house.. Here, in London. I no longer live in LA and Carrie-Ann sort of, well, kind of doesn't know..yet."
"Fuck sake Harry." Gemma shook her head as Lou laughed out of shock.
"Are you serious?" Lou asked. "You basically live in another country and you haven't told her yet? What are you going to do when she goes back and you stay here?"
He hasn't thought that far yet.
"Seriously sometimes Harry I do worry," Gemma pinched the bridge of her nose just like Harry does when he's annoyed and/or agitated.
"I just don't want to cause any more unnecessary stress to her,"
Both women pouted. "You've got no choice," Lou answered.

Carrie-Ann had been in meetings with Burberry all morning, she'd had no breakfast or lunch and she felt weird. She hates not eating, and the fact that she was in London meant she couldn't just go wherever as she didn't know London at all - it was nothing like LA.
She decided to wait until she got back to Harry's where she made something quick and easy, it wasn't filling but it was enough to get her through the rest of the day.
She locked herself away in Harry's spare room and got to work on her book.
But it wasn't as simple as that.
She wrote down two words before the doorbell rang. Harry didn't have a security gate like her.
She answers to a chubby, forty year old looking man, he was holding a clipboard in one hand, a tool box in another. His van that read 'Pete's plumbing' was parked out front.
"Alright darlin'?" His London accent was thick. "I'm 'ere to sort out the downstairs toilet."
"Oh," She opened the door wider. "Come in,"
"You're that Lockhart's daughter ain't ya?"
She swallowed looking uncomfortable, crossing her legs over and folding her arms. "Um yes."
"Thought so." He chatted. "I'm a fan of his films. My wife loves them too, our first date was to erm, what's it called, Solice?"
"Solidarity." She corrected.
He pointed at her. "That's the one, great actor, great man."
She smiles awkwardly. "Yes. He is."
"Is this yours and Harry's gaff then?"
"Pardon me?" She asks politely.
"Oh sorry, your.. Place? You both live here?" He corrected.
"No, no. Just visiting."
Pete drops his bottom lip in wonder. "He must have a lot of money to spend on a place he just visits,"
Carrie-Ann frowns. "Huh?"
"He's had all sorts of stuff goin' on at this place recently, a lot of renovations 'n all that."
She smiled. "That's Harry for you,"
"Anyway, I must get to work. Lovely speaking to you."
"Do you know where it is? It's to the right before the kitchen," She calls.
"Cheers darlin'." He calls opening the toilet door.
The disturbances didn't stop there either. Once Pete left the garden planner came, then the loft insulators came, then the dishwashing company arrived.
It was company after company.
By the time they had all left Harry was home.
"Good day?" She asked.
"Great actually, caught up with my sister and Lou."
She smiled. "Nice,"
He kisses her, laying her legs over his lap as they chilled on the sofa. "What about you?"
She huffed, going on to explain how she was disturbed practically all day.
"Sorry," He apologised. "I completely forgot, I should have told you."
She smiles. "It's okay, I got some work done. No big deal." Just as he kissed her again she felt herself feeling weird again.
Harry stared at her. "You alright?"
She nods. "I need to eat something, I've barely eaten today,"
He shakes his head. "Please eat, your blood sugars are already low. I don't want you to not eat because of stress."
She smiles at his worried face, straightening out the frown on his forehead. "Don't frown you'll get wrinkles."
They kiss for some time, both of them had missed one another today.
"How about I order us some food?"
"Pizza?" She asked.
"Chinese?" He suggested.
"Or both?" She smirked.
"You really want both?"
She kissed his cheek. "Why not?"
He shrugged lifting her legs to find the flyers. "Okay m'lady."
She laughed watching his cute bum in his tight ass jeans walk into the kitchen.
