A/N: not sure if I like this chapter but y'all can decide, you know those days you feel down and not confident? Yep, that's today for me. I feel like this isn't good enough, I'm not good enough, blah. Sorry to put a downer at the beginning and sorry for no chapter yesterday I just needed a break from writing, I'm just a little.. Sad at the minute? I don't know if I'm making sense.

"You look amazing," Harry complimented as Lou touched up his hair with spray.

Carrie-Ann had just finished getting ready. "Thank you, you look so good."

Tonight was a huge awards ceremony for music in LA and as well as Harry, Carrie-Ann had also been invited too. They were however going separately as Harry was going with the boys, but they rented out the same hotel room to get ready together so they could at least spend some time together before the show. The boys were up for three awards.

Carrie-Ann was anxious to walk the red carpet and do the interviews but she knew once she was doing it she'd be fine, the thought is always worse than the actual process with these things.

She had gone with Natalie to her fittings for her dress, she'd opted for a deep cut Jason Wu gown that Natalie had guaranteed would be a knock out. The two of them had resumed back to normal, as if they'd never stopped being friends. Carrie-Ann still had a lot of questions for her but decided for now it was important for them to work on their friendship rather than causing any more drama than they needed.

The past three weeks Carrie-Ann had done nothing but sit in her office and write for her book, they were pestering her with end dates, manuscripts and she felt overwhelmed with pressure but she was able to dedicate her entire time to the book.

Burberry were also calling for meetings and sit-ins on her collaboration which she felt bad for holding back on but for now her main focus was on her book, it had to be. Harry had been flying here, there and everywhere finishing up the tour, and starting the promo for the band's fifth album, they were still able to make it work with them - they always made time for each other which was healthy and they were both so happy at how much they were progressing now.

"It really is a deep cut," Harry smirked at Carrie-Ann's dress, she had a lot of double tape action going on to hold everything in place. She'd also started the gym which Harry was proud of her for because she hates it, and her personal trainer is like a army sergeant, she feels that Harry set her up with him just because of how scary he is and so she wouldn't miss a session.

"Eyes up here," She teased tilting his chin and kissing his lips. They were both ready now and it was only the two of them in their room.

"You look beautiful," He whispered on her lips. "You always find a way to take my breath away,"

She blushed. "You look very gorgeous too, girls are going to be all over you."

"Don't worry about me," He kisses her. "I'm going to be elbowing all the guys out of the way who are trying to get your number." He joked.

She rolled her eyes and he kissed her just because it was his favorite thing when she did that.

"I feel a little nervous," She breathed packing her clutch and making sure her makeup was okay. Lou had kindly offered to do her makeup as Natalie was in New York for the weekend.
