- Aurora at one month -

Carrie-Ann had no idea what sleep was anymore, she had lost all sense of a sleeping pattern around a month ago when Aurora, or Rory as she and Harry call her, was born.

She was handling motherhood very well, it was real hard work but she enjoyed it. Aurora was only a tiny little human who depended on them for everything surrounding her so it drained her to no end. But regardless of how hard it was, it was also the greatest gift she had ever been given. Carrie-Ann found herself just staring at her, even when it was midnight and she should have been getting some sleep she couldn't, she just stared in awe of her.

"Got everything?" Harry smiled taking a sleeping Aurora in her maxi cosy and placing her in the car. Carrie-Ann checked she had everything, leaving the house was a chore now with a baby, it wasn't a simple get your keys, phone and money and go. It was checking she had everything for changing her, toys, bibs, pacifiers. Everything.

"Yeah, let me just get my phone," She took her phone off charge and threw it into her bag before sitting in the car.

They were meeting her parents, Amy and Ollie for lunch. They had flown over to the UK to meet Aurora. It kind of annoyed Carrie-Ann that it had taken them four weeks to get over; Anne, Robin and Gemma had basically lived with them the first week. Her parents had Skyped and Amy had texted but it wasn't as supportive as Harry's family.

"You look gorgeous," Harry complimented her as he drove, a hand in hers rubbing her ring he gave her.

"Thanks, my hair needs doing." She sighed brushing it out of her face. Pregnancy, although she had enjoyed it for most of the time, the hormones had messed up her hair, it had dried out and some of her hairline had broken off.

"You do, you always look lovely,"

She kissed his knuckle, Harry had been amazing the past month. She wasn't back to her normal weight and size just yet, it had only been a month since she gave birth so she would have to work at getting her figure back, but she had been completely involved with Aurora that she hadn't had time to do anything. She was self conscious of her weight but not to a point that it affected her severely, it was just something that niggled in the back of her mind every now and then, but like Anne said; 'you're a mother now, you come second.'

When they arrived, Harry was quick to take Aurora and cover her maxi cosy - hiding her away from the invasive paparazzi.

They had been swarming the couple like bees to honey since she was born. They both discussed whether or not they should show her face and both decided it was only right for Rory that they hide her for as long as possible. She wasn't the celebrity, she didn't asked to be photographed. Carrie-Ann had posted a cute photo of her hands to say that she was born and a thank you for the well wishes, but that was it.

Carrie-Ann followed Harry closely behind, watching him check that Aurora was fully covered.

Because of their decision to hide her, it meant the actual price of her photo tripled in the media which was why the paparazzi were even more keen to snap her.

Carrie-Ann's family were in a private room in the restaurant away from the other guests for eating, usually Carrie-Ann would roll her eyes at this, but she was thankful now that she had Aurora. She wouldn't have to worry about people taking sneaky photos.

"Darling," Her mother smiled hugging her slightly, as always it was a brush of a hug rather than a mothers embrace.

Carrie-Ann watched as Harry placed down a still sleeping Aurora and their mother immediately rushed over with Amy.

"How are you?" Her father smiled hugging her tight.

"Tired," She laughed. "But good,"

Her dad stood back, letting a pretty brunette stand forward.

"Julia," She introduced.

Carrie-Ann was caught off guard, she didn't know he was bringing his girlfriend. She had seen photos of them online, the press had a field day with them. She had to admit that he hadn't looked this happy in a long time.

"Oh, hi. Carrie-Ann," She smiled.

"Congratulations, she's beautiful." She complimented pointing to Aurora.

"Thank you,"

Carrie-Ann watched Julia take a seat before leaning into her father, "Mum's okay with you bringing her?"

"Yeah, she had no choice."

Carrie-Ann shrugged. "Fair enough,"

Everyone had been passing Aurora around like a parcel, everyone wanting photos - even Ollie was enthusiastic. She wasn't sure how Amy would react but she seemed absolutely fine, obsessing completely over Aurora and stunned at how tiny her fingers were.

The chat had been based mainly around Aurora - her sleeping pattern, drinking pattern, weight etc. And although Carrie-Ann couldn't speak enough about her she was getting tired. She was running on four hours sleep today.

"So where's Chris?" Carrie-Ann asked Amy.

"Tokyo," Amy smiled, it was wide and happy. Carrie-Ann loved that she was so happy with him. "He gets to LA the same time as I do so we're going to Jamaica for a week."

"Wow, first holiday together. That's big,"

Amy bit her lip. "Yeah,"

Their mother cooed happy that her daughters were both so happy in their lives.

When Aurora began to cry Carrie-Ann knew it was time to head home, it wasn't fair to have her out for too long, especially when she's been around new people all afternoon.

Carrie-Ann stood up, hugging everyone goodbye before getting Aurora ready to go, she was in a cute summer dress. It was a hot July in London and it was tough keeping a newborn cool in the intense heat.

When they arrived home, Carrie-Ann sighed happily taking off her sandals. She had grown to love their home, always ordering cute little bits online to make it more theirs.

"I'll bath her," Harry offers. "Why don't you make yourself a drink and chill out?"

Carrie-Ann shook her head. "We can bathe her together, I'm fine, honestly."

He knew she was tired and far from fine but didn't see the point in arguing so instead took Aurora out of her carry seat and headed for the bathroom, smiling down at his beautiful baby daughter.
