Neighbors (Part 4)

After that beautiful night, Gerard & Frank we're inseparable. They did literally everything together. They would go to the park in the afternoons & just swing & hold each other's hands. Or sometimes they would go to the local coffee shop & just talk for hours.

Every day Frank fell more in love with Gee & Gee always felt the exact same. Their love grew & grew until they barely had enough space in their hearts for anything else.

It felt like a fan fiction kind of love. Like it was too crazy to happen but it did. Thank God. They never believed that becoming neighbors would allow them to create a whole new life together. It was really a dream come true.

When they finally told their parents the news, they were sitting in the living room waiting for both sets of parents. Frank was trying to calm himself by taking multiple deep breathes.

"Stop being so nervous darlin. It's alright." Gee said kissing him on the cheek before his parents came into the room. Once they started to come into the room, Frank could barely breathe. So Gerard did most of the talking.

"Okay, so we have something really important to tell you guys." Gee said taking Frank's hand squeezing it. He was super nervous for some reason. Their parents just shook their heads & smiled real big.

"Well, we've known each other for almost a year & we've gotten super close. & well we're actually dating now." Gee said smiling really big.

Frank was also smiling & he kept looking around at everyone. His parents were looking at Gees parents with a secret kind of smile. Everything was quiet until..

"I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT." "LILY YOU OWE ME 10 BUCKS" "I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH. WE ALREADY GUESSED IT A LONG TIME AGO." They all said at once.

This took the boys by surprise & made them giggle uncontrollably & hug each other.

"Really, you guys had a bet on if we would date or not?" Frank said laughing

"Well yeah, ever since you two met you've been inseparable. You've held hands, kissed each other, & cuddled multiple times. We knew it automatically." Frank's mom said.

It was a sweet moment for everyone. But it was a school night so they both retreated to their own houses & went to sleep, probably dreaming of the other happily.

Of course people would stare at school, but it was only because they thought that they had been together for months now. Seeing them in the halls holding hands was really nothing new. They've done that ever since they first hung out together.

After dating for 2 years, Gerard already graduated & getting congratulatory sex from his love the night of graduation, it was now Frank's turn to graduate. He couldn't believe that he had finally finished high school so easily with Gerard by his side from day 1.

Even though he had already graduated, Gee would always help him with homework & text him during the day to see how he was. He truly was an amazing boyfriend.

But now it was the last day of school for Frank. Which thankfully was a half day. With most people gone, Frank was free to walk the halls alone. As he walked the halls, he began looking around trying not to cry at everything. All the teachers had taken down the colorful posters that were usually plastering the wall, leaving the spaces open & bare.

All the lockers were cleaned out except Frank's. As he remembered this he quickly ran to his locker before the half day ended. When he opened it, something fell out onto the floor. It looked like a note but there was also a red rose attached to it.
