Being 6 year old best friends is something amazing. Most people don't find their best friend until their dreaded high school years. Not Gerard and Frank.
When they moved next door to each other in the summer of 1990, their moms quickly became friends and introduced them to each other. Ever since that wonderful day, they have been inseparable.
They would always hang out together at the park, the back yards or their bedrooms. They would sit and play video games and joke around like 6 year olds do. Gerard's mom knew from the moment they met that they would be together forever.
The boys never really thought about it but if something happened and they weren't together anymore, they would be absolutely devastated.
Frank's mom would always come over with food in her arms and a small Frankie standing beside her. As soon as the wooden door would open he would come running and hug Gerard tight.
"Gee!" He would squeal with joy at the other boy. "Frankie! Let's go play upstairs!" He would say and they would retreat back to the big room upstairs.
Linda and Donna would smile at each other and head towards the kitchen to prepare the dinner. They would be listening to the giggles coming from the upstairs.
"I'm so glad they found each other. They are so cute." Linda said. Donna shook her head and smiled. And turned back to prepare dinner.
When the boys were called down for dinner, they would sit next to each other. They never wanted to spend a minute apart. It was cute.
They would finish dinner ask to be excused. Of course Linda and Donna would say yes. How could you not? They would run upstairs and play more until it was time to leave.
"Frankie! Time to go!" He heard coming from the living room downstairs.
"Awh man. I don't wanna go. I love being here." Frank said to Gerard.
Gerard just shrugged before sighing. "I know Frankie. But I'll see you tomorrow and we can play more games and maybe even make a fort!" Frank smiled "okay! See you tomorrow, Gee!" He giggled before giving him a big hug and heading downstairs.
That was the last time Gerard had seen Frank.
Frank's parents had to move to another part of town. The reason was unknown but it broke Gerard's small heart. Probably Frank's also. He would just stay in his room and cry his eyes little out. Yelling "I just want my best friend!" And would cry into his pillow.
Donna tried to cheer him up but it was no use. He had lost his best friend and that was the only thing he wanted right now.

12 years later...
Gerard was in his senior year of high school. He was about to graduate from the horrid place. Thank God. Over the years he still thought about Frankie. About everything they used to do. All the laughs and giggles and inside jokes that were shared between the two.
He never found another best friend after that. Of course he met some new faces along the way and hung out with them. But it just wasn't the same.
No one could ever make Gerard smile as much as his Frankie could. It didn't feel right. One day his group of "friends" asked to hang out at the mall. Gee went of course, wanting to be a part of the group.
Once they got there, they all tricked him into going into Victoria secret. They locked him in the dressing room and stole his pants. And underwear. Meaning if he wanted to get out of here, he needed to put something on, anything.
