He's beautiful, isn't he? The way his smile filled his face up. The way his eyes had little lines poking out from their sides, making him so much more attractive. The cutest thing would happen when he smiled, he would chuckle slightly making Gerard's small heart skip a beat, hell maybe even 100 beats. All he knew is that whenever he saw that boy, he was happy, he was home.
Gerard was hesitant about thinking those thoughts. He didn't know why he was thinking them. He was confused, but then again excited. He didn't know much about many things. All he knew was that he was in a dark room. He couldn't make out where he was exactly. He looked around nervously trying to find any and everything to help him escape. That was when he saw it. A small light coming from the middle of the room. A boy, sticking out in the dark fog. Only the small outline was visible for the short amount of time. He slowly came into view, he knew this boy.
Gerard stood there in front of the boy, staring. He didn't want to look away in case he missed something. The boy wasn't doing anything, not moving, smiling, talking. He was just standing there, watching Gerard. They were both analyzing each other from across the small room. All of a sudden, the boy smiled. That was when the air became thick and heavy, quickly filling Gerard's lungs effortlessly. He stood back and clutched his chest, trying to breathe. Gerard chocked out what he thought was air. He spun around quickly, flailing his arms around. He tried to breathe as hard as he could. But it was too late. The fog was lifting, the roof disappeared and the sun was poking through the clouds, and the boy known as Iero was crouching down to Gerard.
"Wake up."
He opened his eyes, noticing his bed was filled with sweat. He quickly threw his blankets off and onto the floor. Grabbing his clothes and throwing them off as well, he shot up ad ran to the bathroom, dazed. As he looked into the mirror, he noticed how much of a red hue his body had. It was as if he was having a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from.
He reached down turning the cold water on and splashing some on his face. He smelt disgusting so he decided to take a quick shower before going into town. He didn't have to work for a few more days. He slipped into the shower with many thoughts floating around in his mind. He remembered some of his dreams, but all he cold see was a shadow of someone with short hair and tattoos.
Gerard didn't even realize he had closed his eyes. He began to see his dreams over and over again. Only each time, the face would get clearer and clearer. He woke up and made himself snap out of whatever hell he was stuck in.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Gerard shouted as he slammed his hand against the shower wall. He slid down to a sitting position, the water still hitting his face. He didn't realize he was crying a bit. It seemed like he sat there on the shower floor for an hour or so, but it was only about ten minutes. He gathered himself and turned the water off, slipping out and grabbing a towel.
He dried his hair and stared at his wet reflection in the mirror thinking. Why was that Iero boy stuck in his head? Why was he in his dreams? Why was he making Gerard feel this way? He shook his head trying to get over it and get to town. He quickly got dressed and downstairs to get breakfast.
He got a bowl of boring cereal and sat at the kitchen counter eating in silence when his phone went off beside him. He glanced at the number and smiled, Bob.
From Bob: Hey Gerard. My buddy and I are going to to get coffee here in about an hour. Do you maybe wanna join us? Could be good to catch up and you can meet him.
He smiled and thought this was the perfect timing. He knew he needed to get his mind off of Iero for a while.
To Bob: Hey man. Sure i'd love to get some coffee. It'll be ready here in a few. xoxoG
He finished his food and put his bowl in the sink before fixing his hair and putting on eyeliner before heading out the door.
Gerard ended up driving around town, wasting some needed time before getting to the coffee shop downtown. He always loved looking at people with their friends. They always seemed to be happy. He wished that he could be happy one day. While he was sitting in the car in front of the coffee shop, his phone began to ring. He hesitantly picked it up and answered.
"Hey Gerard. We're waiting for you man. Where are you?"
"Hey Bob, I'm in my car. Hold the hell up alright? I'll be inside in a few minutes. okay?"
"Okay hurry the hell up." He snickered before saying bye and hanging up the phone. He turned the car off and grabbed his phone, wallet, and keys before locking the car and heading inside.
As soon as he opened the door, he spotted the tall blonde man in the back booth. He walked up to the booth and that was when he finally got a good look at the other boy. It was Iero, the one from Bobs bathroom. The boy he was going to fall in love with. He lost all words at his beauty.
His jaw hit the floor, thankfully no one noticed.
"Gerard, this is my buddy Frank Iero. Frank, this is my friend Gerard Way."
No words were spoken for a good thirty seconds. Bob waved his hand in between their faces.
"Earth to Frank and Gerard."
They both came to their senses and shook hands and sat down across each other. "Hi there. Nice to meet you Gerard. I like your shirt, Bowie is a genius." Gerard looked down, he didn't even realize he was wearing the Bowie shirt his parents got him years ago. He blushed slightly.
"Hey, thanks Frank. Nice to meet you too! Bowie is my favorite artist of all time. The way his music just, I don't know, he speaks to me." Frank smiled and got excited when he heard Gerard speak. They all sat around chatting and getting to know one another for a good while.
"Frank, I think we'll be great friends."
I'm really bad at updating this. I'm so sorry. Hope this will suffice! Love you all!
