Chapter 25

Fivo POV

I am just so happy. Very very very happy. Walang mapaglagyan ang kasiyahan ko ngayon.

Finally, Aissa and I are officially a couple now. That was unexpected, really. I didn't see that coming. Right timing pa kasi on her birthday. Things are really falling into their places. 

I have to call her again. I want to say I love you and see you soon. 

*phone ringing*

Woah. I'm supposed to call you dear.

Wait, Mom's calling. Why on earth?

"Hey Mom, what's up? Haven't called so long. Why?" I said to Mom. Yeah, she haven't called for weeks now. I don't know why. Busy siguro.

"Do you know it already?" Sabi ni Mom. Sa tono ng boses niya parang there's something wrong. 

"What's that Mom?" I'm getting curious to death.

"About Alex. Alexandria, your ex. " pasigaw na sabi ni Mom.

"Hey, what's with her? Mom, she's now in heaven. Let her be our angel na lang. Let's not talk about this. " medyo inis kong sabi. 

"She's alive. Someone told me that she's alive. They saw her at Germany with her parents. Ang alam ko kasi yung kasama nilang girl sa house ay ampon lang nila. She's just a niece from a deceased relative who lives in Germany. But someone told me that it's her, it's Alex. Long story, anak pero I want you to keep this as a secret lang muna. This is a sensitive matter and Alex's family wouldn't want to share this with everybody. Let's take this as a chismis muna before concluding anything. I'll update you again, son. I know you're in doubt but this is  good news, right? I'll give you time on your own to think about this. I love you son." And that call ended. 

Hey, whuuuuuuut? Ano raw sabi ni Mom?

That news left me with no thoughts in my head. 

Alex? I saw her dead and we buried her. 

What on earth is happening here? 

A while ago, I was at my happiest. 

Now, I don't feel anything. I can't think of anything. 

Sh*t.

Louisse POV

It's been a month already. 

Ready na ba kong bumalik sa Pilipinas?  

Ready na ba kong mabuhay ulit ng normal after ng nalaman ko? 

Ready na ba kong makita ulit si Auren?

Rumors are now going around here. Maybe I should go back home. 

"Mom, maybe I should go back." I said that with a lifeless tone.

"Maybe that's the right thing to do now. Rumors are everywhere. We need to be more careful. Baka kumalat yan pati sa Pilipinas and we don't want that. Remain as private as possible, dear. Kahit kay Auren, wala kang sasabihin." Mahigpit na bilin ni Mom. 

We both agreed to that and three days after I went back home. 

Unknown memories kept on flashing back. 

"Babe, careful! Dahan dahan lang. Matuto ka rin. Take it easy. Knowing you, you'll learn it the fastest way." sabi ng lalaki na nasa harap ko. Sino kaya siya?

I see myself riding a bike. Inaalalayan niya ko habang nag aaral ako kung pano magbike. Oh wait, he just called me "babe". Sino ba siya????

"Thank you babe. Thank you for your patience sa pagtuturo ha? I love you!"masayang sabi ko sa lalaking yun sabay kiss sa lips niya. 

Hey Louisse, bakit mo ginawa yun? Do you know him? I'm confused to death. We seemed to be very in love with each other. 

OMG. Is he my ex-boyfriend? The one who's with me during the accident????

And then I woke up to that shock. 

I need to find you, babe...

Aissa POV

Bakit kaya hindi pa tumatawag si Fivo? Nakaramdam na ata. Sana nga! Charot lang. Hahaha!

Baka sobrang busy. Kelan kaya siya uuwi? Gusto ko na siya makausap at makita. 

Monday, sa office...

"Absent ata si Auren. Bakit kaya? Nagsabi ba sayo?  Ay teka pala, ano pala nangyari sa inyo nung birthday mo? Bakit biglang umuwi si Auren? Basted ba? Sumagot ka naman, Aissa!!!!" pangungulit ni Erry.

"Paano kita masasagot e sunud-sunod tanong mo. Hay naku ka Erry. Hindi naman siya nagsabi na hindi siya papasok ngayon. Nangyari? Ahh --- ehh --- binigay niya lang regalo niya saken! Yun lang! May emergency daw kaya umalis siya agad! medyo pasigaw na sagot ko kay Erry. Sobrang halata na defensive ako. Sh*t. Bakit ka nga ba absent? 

"Labas tayo maya. Treat ko. Tayong dalawa lang. You know. H2H talk." pang-aasar niya saken.

Huwag naman sana ganito, Auren. Ayoko namang dito lang tayo matapos. 

Well, we haven't started yet.
