It was just the end of second period which to Alfred's luck was his least favorite class. I mean he hated all his classes but it was just this class he absolutely hated. It was so boring and he had to share it with Ivan Braginsky, the most rudest person ever who bullied him for no reason. He had been bullied by him for about 2 months. It sucked.

It started when he entered high school, he had recently had moved from the UK with his adoptive father and his brother. Problem was he was a little smarter than an average kid should be and looked like it, he had the dorky glasses and stuff. Being new, having a dorky look, and being super smart made him a big target to get bullied. Which he did get eventually did, which brings us back to Ivan Braginsky.

The bully which was his role in Alfred's life. Other than him just being smart, Alfred really didn't know why he would be bullied by Ivan. When he first saw Ivan, he thought he was a nice guy and he did find him kinda cute. But he had never thought about much.

Anyway back to second period it ended around 9:50 or so. He sighed and went to rest his head on his arm. "Ow."

He winced and pulled back, realizing he had a bruise on his arm from getting pushed into a locker yesterday.

The bell rung, meaning time to go to next period. Alfred gathered his books and left the classroom to his locker. Of course Ivan just had to cause trouble with him, when he only wanted to just get class.

"Hey american trash" Ivan called out. Alfred just kept his head down fearing he make things worst if he talked.

"Hey!" Ivan shoved Alfred into the locker. A whimper passed Alfred's lips as tears threatened to pour, Ivan chuckled lightly. A sudden anger overwhelmed Alfred, he was done with him. He slowly got up an looked Ivan straight in the eye and slapped him.

"What did I do!I have done nothing to you! And..and I thought you might have been cool and I started to like you maybe with time I could have loved you but...but!" Alfred was drowning in tears and ran out of the school.

Ivan was speechless, raising his hand to his cheek. He finally realized what had happened.

"I need to fix this" and ran after Alfred in hopes in telling him the truth.

Alfred was found back against the school crying. Ivan had never felt that guilty in a long time. Alfred turned to look at him and flinched, looking terrified as ever. Ivan went to caress his cheek, but he only to have him to flinch back.

Ivan sighed, "I'm so sorry Fredka." Tears ran down Ivan's face, Alfred cautiously made his way closer to Ivan. He smiled at Ivan and grabbed both of hands in his own.

"It's o-okay Ivan."

"Fredka I actually really like you" Ivan confessed. Alfred eyes widen a bit and gave a kind smile.

"Me too" Alfred and Ivan looked each other in the eyes. Ivan leaned in and closed his eyes, instead of feeling lips he felt a finger. He opened his eyes to see Alfred's finger on his lips, laughing.

"Baby steps Ivan, baby steps."

Ivan smirked,picked Alfred up bridal style, and started walking to his house.

"Ivan put me down what about class and school!"

"It is just one day, we are fine."

"Fine, but remember baby steps." Alfred sighed.

"Yes baby steps which are just like adult steps right?"

"What n- never mind I'm tired lets go home to take a nap." and Alfred slowly drifted away in Ivan's arms.
