Episode 6: Things get scaly

Yukari had stuck close to Moka ever since their meeting and that made it difficult for Rane to get anywhere near Moka himself. He tried to talk to Moka the next morning on their way to class but Yukari made a golden pot appear over his head that knocked him out before he could get there. He woke in the infirmary unable to see and had trouble breathing with the feeling that something big, soft and warm was blocking his ways to breathe. He quickly forced Kurumu off him and looked at her as if he was about to lose it.
Rane: ARE YOU TRYING TO SUFFOCATE ME?!!
Kurumu: Of course not. I though a nice booby pillow would help you sleep after your pan to the head.
Rane: First off a pillow normally goes under the head. Second where is Moka and Yukari?
Kurumu: I don't care, I just want to he by you.
Rane: Please stop trying.
Kurumu stared pouting before she left the room. If Rane believed that would stop her from trying he'd be jumping for joy but he knew better. He left the room to find Moka and Yukari but couldn't find them anywhere. He couldn't figure out where they might be until he took a look at the clock and saw that it was lunch time. Chances were that Moka was out eating somewhere with Yukari. He checked outside to see if he could find them and when he reached the courtyard he did. They were sitting on a table under the tree enjoying lunch together looking calm which made Rane happy to see. However, that happiness was soon broken when he saw three students walking over to them with looks on their faces that said they weren't friendly. As the three of them walked to Moka and Yukari, Rane watched as one of the three men pushed their food off the table.
First Student: Well look at what we have here.
Moka: What do you want?
Second Student: Don't worry, we aren't here for you.
Third Student: We want this cocky little pipsqueak.
Rane started to walk over thinking things were about to get bad.
Moka: What do you want with her?
First Student: To teach her a lesson about insulting her seniors.
Yukari: You may be seniors but you have the brains of dumbass babies!
The second student grabbed Yukari by her arm squeezing it tightly.
Second Student: That's that mouth we were talking about.
Moka: Put her down!
Third Student: Or what? You can't do crap against the three of us.
Yukari: Leave her alone and let me go!
The student began squeezing her hand tighter and Yukari started to scream in pain.
First Student: You know what? Just kill her. No one will care if a stupid witch dies.
The second students body changed becoming larger, green and scaley, most importantly it was ugly. His hands and feet became claws and a tail grew out of his back along with sharp teeth running across his longer-than-normal mouth. He looked at Yukari with evil intentions as he moved his arm closer to her waist. But before he could make contact Rane decided to step in by grabbing the lizard student's hand.
Rane: Sorry I'm late. Someone knocked me out with a pot.
Moka: Rane your ok!
Rane: Never better. Now look I know Yukari can be a massive pain in the ass but she's still just a girl. Let her go and nobody has to get hurt.
Rane knew that the chances of them leaving quietly were slim which is why he signaled quietly with his hand to get closer. Moka saw his sign and took a step forward but-
Second student: You really think we'd listen to you!
The student used his tail to wrap around Rane's neck and throw him to the ground.
Yukari: Rane! Are you ok?
Rane: Don't get mad, don't get mad, don't get mad,
Moka: Rane I'm coming!
Moka ran past the lizards to Rane's side and helped him to his feet.
Moka:Quickly, take it off now!
Rane: Right!
He grabbed the rosary around Moka's neck and pulled it off as the day turned to night and the moon turned crimson. The glow of crimson filled the area as the darker side of Moka emerged.
Moka: Well looks like we got some trouble. What's the matter Rane? Can't handle them yourself?
Rane: You know exactly why.
Moka: Don't worry, I'll take care of this.
Yukari: Who is that chick?
Before answering Moka used her speed to kick the second student in his arm forcing him to drop Yukari.
Moka: I'll explain later, just get to Rane.
Yukari had no arguments and ran to Rane.
First Student: No you dont!
The first student spat out a ball of acid towards Yukari. She turned around to see it chasing her thinking she can't dodge it in time. As she closed her eyes in fear waiting for the pain of burning acid to strike, the only thing Yukari did feel was the ringing in her ears as Rane screamed in pain. Moka saw the event happened and buried her face in the palm of her hand.
Moka: You guys just screwed up big time.
Yukari: Rane......
Rane: Yukari, close your eyes.
She did as she was asked but could feel the warmth of the fire that gather around Rane's body and the roars of the ghost rider as he emerged made Yukari quiver in fear. The rider stood with his chain hanging off of his arm. As he turned to face the other students the crippling sound of the fire combined with the cracking of bones as he moved his head around made the students nervous. But nervous doesn't mean back down.
First Student: KILL HIM!!!
The third and first student changed into their lizard forms. The second and third charged at Rane with impressive speed but not effective, especially for Moka.
Moka: Did you forget about me? I'm hurt.
She easily jumped in front of their path using her powerful legs to kick the second student high into the air. The rider then swung his chain towards him and it wrapped around his waist tightly and with immense strength, the rider swung the student in circles and then into the third student sending them rolling across the ground, leaving them both unconscious. The rider them turned to the leader himself.
Ghost rider: Looks like this lizard is gonna become a new leather jacket.
First Student: Hey let's talk this out now. Can't we come to an agreement.
Moka: There is no agreeing with this guy.
The rider wrapped his chain around the lizards neck and yanked the student towards him where Moka roundhouse kicked him in his skull, probably shattering it completely.
Moka: Not bad Rane. You're getting more control on that thing.
What happened next proved that he wasn't. The rider turned and lashed out at Moka. He tried to punch, kick, and whip her with his chains but he wasn't coordinated anymore, almost as if one side wanted to attack her but the other didn't. To stop him Moka delivered a straight kick to his jaw knocking him down to the floor where Rane took control of his body soonafter.
