The sun's rise seemed to mark the end of an era, Rane's era to be precise. The halls were empty and majority of students were either held up in classes or still in their dorms. It seems like nobody wanted to get caught if things broke down or got out of hand but they still were in a position where they could see everything since Satan decided the meeting place to be out by where the gym used to be. The school had planned to rebuild it but all they had managed was clearing the area so it was completely barren with nothing more than solid ground and in the center of that ground he stood wearing the same suit as before with that same sinister smile, the smile he always had when he knew that things were going to fall exactly into place. Rane's arrival only assured him even as he watched Moka struggle as Rane dragged her by the collar of her shirt.
Satan: Having some trouble, are we?
Rane: Convincing isn't really an option given the situation.
Moka: Why are you so strong?!!
Rane: No offense Moka, but you're not much of a fighter.
He dragged her until they were but a few feet away from Satan. Rane thought it was time to get the show over with but before he could let out a word he heard a cacophony of voices screaming out his name as all of his friends rushed toward him.
Rane: What do you think you're doing? Do you plan on stopping me?
Ginei: Trying hard to resist that urge actually?
Rane: What does that mean?
Yukari: Since you decided to do this, that means that these are gonna be you're final moments.
Ruby: We're not letting you spend them without us by your side.
Kurumu: We're with you until the end.
Mizore: Because you'd do anything for any of us.
It was then that an unexpected face stepped forward, Kokoa. If Rane thought anyone would have any sort of joy at what was coming, it would be her but she let her head hang and her hair covered her eyes almost as if she was hiding them. She stepped up to Rane so that they were inches away from each other before let her head rest on Rane's chest.
Kokoa: I didn't think you would do it, I left the assembly thinking he would just leave and you would still be looking for an answer. I didn't thing you would do it.
Her body began to quiver and Rane could hear her sniffle and soon felt the dampness of the tears that entered his clothes. Kokoa added onto it by beating on Rane's chest but her sorrow was too heavy for the blows to inflict any real pain.
Kokoa:I still owe you that bowl of ramen you idiot!!
Rane couldn't help but give a weak smile. He thought that she would have long forgotten joke he made about the ramen but was so surprised that she still remembered that he smiled. He put his hand on her head and kneeled on one knee allowing Kokoa to look down at him. Rane wiped the tears from her eyes gently.
Rane: It's only ramen.
Kokoa hugged him and held on tight until Ginei puled her away. Rane then stood and faced Satan with Moka at his side.
Moka: So that didn't make you reconsider this at all?
Rane: Nope, let's get this over with.
Satan: I agree, while your friends coming here was very heartwarming it is time that we fulfill this deal.
Rane: You first.
Satan: I planned to. Moka step forward.
Moka refused to move and remained silent so Satan snapped his fingers and from the ground beneath them, two red demons had risen bearing razor sharp fangs, horns on their heads but no place for eyes, just more flesh that was slimy and covered in something but the smell itself attracted Moka a bit.
