Season II Episode 4: Shokugeki no Mizore

With a new semester came new classes. many of them were all monster related and Rane didn't really see himself using the material in real life but there was one class that he was actually looking forward to and that was cooking. Rane had somewhat of a secret passion for cooking although he didn't keep it a secret, it was just never brought up. With high hopes for a good class, which was a rarity in his time at Yokai, Rane went to class with a smile on his face. As he entered he took a seat at the station at the front of the room. Each station came stocked with pots, pans, knives and other cooking utensils and in the back were fridges full of ingredients for whatever they were going to cook today. Rane noticed a heavy scent of spices which made him think that whatever they were cooking might be a little hot but he was willing all the same. A few minutes later the other students began to pour into the classroom. It was then that Rane realized the one possible downside to this class, who was going to sit next to him? Rane knew the answer was coming as Yukari, Kurumu, and Mizore walked into the room. Rane tried to make as little eye contact as possible but with one quick glanced Kurumu and Yukari lunged toward Rane flying over the tables and mowing down all the other students. Rane held his arms up hoping to protect himself from the coming impact but it never came, only a cold breeze was left and when Rane looked to see what happened, only inches away from him, Yukari and Kurumu we're frozen solid.

Mizore: Wanna be partners for the class?

Rane: Uuuuh....sure.

Moka arrived later ready to cook but as she looked at the scene of the class already she honestly wasn't surprised.

Moka: So, I'm assuming you and Mizore are partners?

Rane: Yeah, I think so.

Moka: Then can you unfreeze these two so I have a partner?

Rane: I'll take care of that.

Rane began to channel heat into his right hand and touched the ice that trapped Kurumu and Yukari. A few seconds later the ice melted enough for the two of them to break free and realize they lost their opportunity.

Kurumu: Dammit! I had plans for being partners in this class.

Yukari: Probably another love potion attempt.

Kurumu: I'm way past potions!

Moka noticed a pink bottle sticking out of Kurumu's pocket and grabbed it.

Moka: Then what's this?

Kurumu: It's a lust potion.

Rane: So is there a difference?

Kurumu: Of course! A lust potion will maximize your need for sexual contact and once you realize that I am the only women that can satisfy such desires you'd have no choice but to be with me.

Rane: Thanks for revealing you're whole plan, now I know not to eat anything you make.

Kurumu: Oh right.

Yukari: Idiot.

Mizore: Has anyone met the teacher for this class?

Moka: I saw her. She should be on her way soon.

Suddenly the door to the class was kicked open unleashing a wave of strong and fragrant spices that filled the noses of everyone in the room as a blond woman walked inside and stood behind the teacher's station.

?????: GOOD MORNING CLASS! Welcome to cooking, I am your teacher Ms. Apsara and I am here to teach you the two rules about cooking. One, cooking is an art and two, ART IS AN EXPLOSION, which means spicy. Remember these two rules and your food will always be delicious! Now lets begins with what we will be cooking in class today.
