We lost Alan Rickman today, or as most children would remember him, 'Professor Snape'. He was my favorite character and my favorite actor and I will be sad forever.

Alan Rickman died on January 14, 2016 at the age of 69 after battling cancer. It is not yet known what type of cancer he had or how long ago he is diagnosed. All we know is that he will live on in our hearts forever.

I remember watching Harry Potter for the first time. It was my favorite movie. I was either 4 or 8 I don't remember but it was a great movie. Every time I look at Alan Rickman I get a sense of nostalgia and so many memories come flooding back to me.

This chapter is kind of my tribute to an amazing actor. He never knew I existed and he never will but that doesn't matter. He is a part of my childhood.
