Kendall's POV
We all walked in a big group towards the massive arena. The boys were laughing and joking around but Terra, Anna and I were dead silence. The seriousness finally hitting home, we were going to have to work our arses off if we had any chance of being scouted. Liam had told me that sometimes talent scouts attend their concert to assess the dancers and drummers etc. to see if they had 'potential' to become famous in their profession. We were all desperate to get scouted but I guess we hadn't really thought about how hard we actually had to work. But this is important and I am prepared.
We had to go through the back entrance because some fans had already turned up. They seemed crazed and started to scream and cry when they caught sight of us, I looked at Anna, not really sure what to do. So we just stood to the side with Terra while the boys took some photos with the girls. Afterwards we continued to walk round back. Security opened the doors for us and we walked in, it was really overwhelming with all modern equipment scattered around everywhere. So overwhelming that I grabbed the hand closest to mine, I looked up to see it was Niall's. I smiled sheepishly and took it away, he laughed.
"Sorry," I mumbled. "It's just I'm really nervous." He shook his head.
"No it's okay, I remember how I felt in my first show and it was really nerve-wracking. Just remember that you're not alone up there and we all support you." I gave a nervous laugh, that wasn't likely seeing that the only people from the band who like me are Louis and Niall.
Suddenly a flock of people ran over and started badgering around the boys. A woman with blonde hair and glasses told Terra, Anna and I to follow her, she led us through some dim corridors to a door labeled 'Studio'. I smiled, finally we'd get to work. The dance studio was big, not as big as mine but big enough. Our choreographer was a tall, muscly and very camp man called Theo. Introductions were quick seeing as we only had a day to get the routine sorted, Theo was way more professional then my old teacher and way more informal too - which I liked.
His learning method was very effective, first we'd listen to the music, then he's show us the routine, then we'd try to copy it and then he'd actually teach it. It really helped us to get the rhythm straight and the moves on que. By the time we learned the first song we were exhausted, chugging down our water.
Six hours worth of blood, sweat and tears were spilled - but it was totally worth it. We had the routines down and felt pumped up for tomorrow night.
"I seriously cannot move another muscle," panted Anna who was leaning against the wall. "I've never worked that hard ever." Terra and I groaned in agreement, my limbs were on fire. Theo chuckled,
"Well I must say you girls were brilliant today, so concentrated and determined - I like that in a dancer. You three have massive potential!" I thanked him with a croaky squeak (yeah, I don't know either). We downed the rest of our water and started back for the bus for a shower, we were going to be staying in a hotel for the night, but we seriously needed a shower.
I stayed silent whilst Anna and Terra chattered away, I was absolutely nakered.
"STOP!" Anna half-shouted, she was looking through a door that was slightly open. She gestured for us to come over.
"Anna what are you gawping at?" I say in an emotionless tone, I swear if it's something pointless like the time she pointed out a crocodile shaped clock I will scream. Anna has a habit of telling me irrelevant things. Terra pushes her out the way - and screams - then runs away from the door. I grab her wrists and stare at her face, yup she's fangirling.
"Terra," I start."I thought you weren't a big fan of 1D!" She shakes her head.
"N-no I'm not bu-but I wasn't informed that 5SOS glorious presences would be here!" My jaw dropped, 5SOS was mine, Terra's and Anna's favourite band. I let out a squeal, I'm pretty sure that all the stagehands think we're twelve year old girls, but they don't understand the science of 5SOS.
