I didn't see the face of those bimbos. I sat with Mary, Jane, Taylor and Katty during lunch and we became good friends. I met Lucas, Valentino, lexis, Dave and David every morning and talked we chatted until Demon would get out of the shower. While for Demon, we never had a normal conversation. There were only the 'good mornings.' Unless we still sit beside each other in English Literature class but still, we never talked.
The boys invited me many times to spend sometime together but I always refused. Why, you might be asking. Because I didn't want to come between Demon and his friends. Every night I've been skyping with mum. And, since the little argument I had with the bimbos, I'd earned respect within the students.
Right now, I am reading the last last chapter in the book with no title. It was really interesting and fascinating. It talked about myths, legends, and weapons. One thing got my attention; in the last chapter there were many pages missing. It's 8 p.m. I had already had dinner. Demon just came in, took some clothes and went to change in the bathroom. He came out in a pair of shorts and a loose t-shirt. Around 10 p.m, as I was tired of reading, I put the book on the table and stood to stretch myself.
I went to see if Demon was still here. "You are not going out today?" I asked. He was lying on the bed, reading a book. "Hmm no." he replied. "Okay." I said and went in my room. After sometime, mum called. "Angel, check your email now!" she screamed when I picked up. "Why?" I asked. "I sent you some photos of handsome boys that I choose for you." She said. "WHAT? I am only 15 for god's sake!" I cried out. "Chill! I'm just joking dear." she laughed and I could imagine her smirking. "I just sent you some photos of us together. I'm missing you." she whispered the last part. "I'm missing you too, mum." I said.
I checked the photos. It was our last Christmas. Mum was very beautiful in her gorgeous blue dress. I wore a rose knee-length dress. We were hugging, dancing and doing all types of funny faces. I chuckled remembering the way mum danced. I really did miss her. Demon came in. He asked: "Won't you be sleeping? It's already late." I checked my clock and saw that it was already 11 p.m. "No am not feeling sleepy. What about you?" I replied.
"Same here." he replied. I put my laptop aside and offered him to sit. He sat down on a chair while I sat across him on the bed. "So..." I started. "So?" he said. It's a weird way of starting a conversation. "What's your age?" I asked. "16 and you?" he asked. "15" I replied. After some seconds of silence he said: "The boys are quite impressed by you." I smiled and said: "yeah, well I certainly did some unknown magic on them." He laughed over this.(He looked so cute while laughing! I was literally swooning.) That's how the boys became our topic of conversation. I found out many interesting things about them. The boys including Demon were mare like brothers.
"It's late. Won't you sleep?" he asked. I looked at the clock. It was 1 a.m. Time flies by quickly. "I'll be sleeping in some minutes and you?" I asked. "Same. Do you normally sleep late itself?" he asked. "Hmm...yeah. After 1 a.m I go to sleep." I replied. "Why?" he asked, frowning. "it's really hard to explain." I replied. "Try." he encouraged. "Okay. Normally only at night that I can get time for myself." I tried explaining, hoping that he understood. "Oh I see." he replied. "And you?" I asked. "I normally party in Lexis's dorm until two." "Hmm okay." I said. "Demon." I called out when he was about to go to his dorm. "Yeah?" he said, turning around to face me. "It was nice talking to you." I smiled at him. "Nice talking to you too." he smiled back at me and continued walking.
When Demon was already in his room, I took out my rubber-band from my hair, and tied it in a tight bun and got in my bed. I heard Demon telling me "Good night." "Good night." I replied and slowly drifted in the world of nightmares.
