Ordinary girl, is she?

Chapter 41: Today.

Today is the day that shall define the fate of every living person. This was the day which I was waiting for since so long. It was four in the afternoon. Everyone were in their dorm, getting ready for the grand event: prom. Well everyone except Demon. I locked the door and took out my prom dress from the cupboard. Yeah the one that I sewed myself. I laid it on my bed. I stood before the mirror and took out my hair band. My hair flowed until my shoulders, shining. I then proceeded to take out my contacts and put them in their box. 

I changed my clothes and put on some make-up. I then put on my high heels. Today was my first and maybe last prom ever; I wanted to be myself for once. The blue dress hung to me perfectly. It showed off all my features. It was the girls who insisted so much on this dress. I put on a matching blue necklace and earrings. I made a french bun and then put on my contacts. I heard a loud knock on my door. I opened it. The 'stunned school's hottest bad-boys' except their leader were all but checking me out. ''Wow! You-look-superb!!'' Lexis managed to say. ''Totally!'' The others wolf-whistled. I opened the door wide for them. 

''You guys are rocking with your looks.'' I winked at them. We all laughed. Everyone were in a tuxedo. They sat down on Demon's bed and the chairs in his room. "So how are you guys?" I asked. "Fine and you?" They all chirped. "Am perfectly fine." I smiled. "Are you ready for today?" Dave asked. "Yup." I replied popping the 'p'. Somewhere inside, I knew I was ready for today. In fact, today was the day that I was waiting for. We talked until someone knocked at the door. "Hey girl!" It was Taylor. All our eyes were wide. The girls were beautiful...seriously. "You look so damn sexy, Angel!" Jane chirped happily. The girls gave an approving-look. I opened the door wider for the girls to enter.

"Not more than you." I replied. The boys eyed the girls and whistled taking in their beauty. "Let's go to the prom together?" Valentino suggested. "Sounds fun." Taylor said. Lucas murmured something in Jane's ears which caused her to blush...The moment we stepped in the gym, all eyes turned towards us. Murmurs began spreading after a few seconds of silence. The gym was huge and beautifully decorated. There was a banquet at the side. All students started filling in. "May the party begin!" Mr Peterson said...

Demon's p.o.v:

I knew I would be getting late but I didn't care. I could no longer fight the urge to see Angel. I edged my way into the crowd. Only a glimpse of her, I said to myself. When I saw her, I was stunned. She took my breath away like she always does. She was standing in a corner with Valentino in a beautiful blue dress which certainly complemented her figures. But suddenly an unknown feeling took over; jealousy. I wanted to punch Valentino square in the face. His hands went to Angelina's waist and they started dancing. I clenched and unclenched my hands to calm myself. I had to remind myself that she wasn't mine. Taking a last look at her, I went in the boys bathroom and teleported myself.
