Angel's p.o.v:
I was searching for Demon. It was dark. ''Demon! Demon! Demon!!'' I kept calling out for him. He appeared before me and handed me his hand. I laced my hands in his. I heard my mum and dad say: ''Don't lose hope.'' Then, the ground shook beneath me. Our hands separated. ''Angel!'' I heard Demon cry. I fell in the dark and kept falling.
I opened my eyes. Everything was flu. I saw Demon's face. ''You're awake.'' he said. He was tensed and sad. I could see it in his eyes. ''Yup.'' I replied with a smile. He remained quiet. ''What's wrong?'' I asked. ''He was sitting on a chair, next to the bed. His hand was on the bed. I put my hand over his to comfort him. ''We can't continue with it anymore. Your training shall be done by Valentino, from now on. He said, looking at me with a stern look. It took me seconds, minutes, hours, days, months or years maybe, to register his words.
He separated our hands and got up to leave. ''Demon stop!'' I said, getting up from the bed. A wave of dizziness washed through me but I quickly brushed it away. I got the injection (glucose administration) out. There was an immense pain in my arm and side, but nothing compared to what I was feeling inside. ''I love you Demon!'' I yelled at his back. He stopped in his tracks and turned around; his face emotionless. ''But, I don't love you Angelina.'' With that said, he got out. Tears were threatening to fall. I fell on my knees.
I never cried before anyone nor will I today. I quickly wiped off the rebellious tears with my hands. My heart ached so bad, damn! Mrs. Peterson entered following with Mr. Peterson and mum. ''I am okay.'' I said looking up at them and forcing a smile. I got up, trying my best not to fall over. A smirk found it's way to my lips. ''Do you have a gym here?'' I asked them, still smirking. ''No! You won't!'' Mum said.''I've got to practice my techniques.'' I said. ''You need rest!'' Mrs. Peterson said, getting angry.I insisted a lot and they let me go. I changed into sports wear in the room itself. ''Mum what's the day?'' I asked. ''Friday, 12th.'' she replied. I smirked eerily. I told them that I'll manage and they left. I closed myself in the gym.
A/N:
Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them but you know that they're always there.
Side by side or miles apart, clear friends are always close to the heart.
Our time together are never quite enough.
