Demon's p.o.v:
Dad took me in a room which was once mine. ''Why are we here?'' I asked, trying to calm myself down. ''To talk, son.'' He said, sitting on a chair. Everything was still the same. Nothing was displaced. ''Son?'' I whispered to myself. ''What exactly did you want to tell me?'' I asked. ''Who is Angelina to you?'' he asked me, getting directly to the subject. ''How does it matter to you?'' I asked in a high tone. ''You're my son whether you like it or not. It's normal for me to care for you.'' He said in his oh-so-fake fatherly tone.
''Oh really?'' I fake gasped. ''It's the biggest discovery ever! Care! Huh! You didn't 'care' for me when I needed you! You can't care for someone as you don't have a heart to do so. Dear King, don't use words you can't handle!'' I spat in his face, very well aware that I was pissing him off. His eyes grew darker. ''You don't talk to me like that!'' He said, in his authoritative voice. ''Oh, sorry. Did I hurt your ego, my lord?'' I said in a girly tone. Steam was getting out of his ears. ''Can you just stop it now? It's getting annoying.'' He said, firmly.
''You and that orphan can't be together, not even in your dreams. As a father, I am doing my duty to warn you against the dangers your relationship can bring. She's a Dragon warrior and you're the Prince of Darkness. Dragon warriors have never been compatible with Darkness. If you continue with this relation, one among you will be dying and I fear that it shall be her. And, I know you don't want this.'' he explained, in a serious tone. I didn't say anything. I didn't know whether to believe him or not. ''I just, don't want you to regret anything.'' He added after some minutes of silence. I left the room to join Angel.
Angelina's p.o.v:
I drank some water. Staz offered me some drinks and a dance but I refused. For some reasons, I didn't like him. He seemed odd. At last, he got bored with me and went to meet his friends. I went in the same corner where I had left Demon. A very beautiful woman of around 40 years walked towards me, eyeing me from up to down. She was wearing a black cocktail dress. Her facial features matched with Demon's. ''You are Angelina, right?'' She asked in a soft voice. ''Yes and you must be Demon's mother.'' I smiled at her and she smiled back. They had the same smile. We talked for sometime.
''I am glad for my son. He's really lucky to have got you by his side.'' she smiled a genuine smile. I blushed. ''Demon certainly got his charming side from you.'' I said. We laughed. ''Mother.'' Demon said, coming towards us. ''Demon.'' his mother said. ''It's been so long.'' he said, getting beside me. ''Indeed, son. Everything changed since you left.'' She said. They hugged each other. For some reasons, an odd feeling crept in me. I remembered my parents. ''I'll be waiting for you outside.'' I said, getting out.The sky was grey, a storm was about to strike. I hugged myself as the wind blew. A shiver ran through me. My instinct was warning me. There was something; no, someone nearby. Danger.
