Chapter 11

The light hinting at me from behind my curtains was giving me a good feeling. A feeling that today would be a good day.

If the sun was shining then the day must be just as bright if not brighter, or that's what I hoped at least. I stretched my hands out beside me and yawned, Mocca crawled onto my stomach and began kneading it, it felt like getting a nice massage... Until she began clawing me and then it felt more like acupuncture.

"Ouch Mocca you furry bitch" I hissed lifting her up and dropping her on the bed beside me, she quickly moved to climb back onto my stomach so I had no choice but to stand up. I groaned and looked down at her, she was looking up at me, her yellow like eyes glaring at me, "Glare at me all you want Missy, you're hurting me" I said and walked into my bathroom.

I was going shopping today with Josie and Sen, It was a summer tradition. I stepped into the shower and turned it on, the warm water sprinkled down onto my body, streaming down my skin. I closed my eyes and tipped my head back, letting it wash down my face. I washed my body and hair with my Raspberry and Vanilla shower gel which left a glorious scent on my skin. I still smelled of him from last night, it always fascinated me how his smell always lingered on my skin.

I wrapped a towel around my body and walked back into my room, my mother was laying on my bed, playing with Mocca. What was she doing in here? "Um mom?", she looked up and sent me a huge smile, "good morning baby, How'd you sleep" she asked, "I slept good thanks, now why are you here?", "Oh I just wanted to come and ask you if you would be up for a mother and daughter day out" she explained, "Mom last time we went out for a Mother and daughter day we ended up arrested", "this time we'll be more careful then, it was your fault we got caught anyway", "Fine, we can go out again" I laughed when she jumped up and embraced me in a tight hug, "Yay, it'll be so fun" she cheered and walked out of my room.

Last time Mom and I went out to a club, I being underage got caught when a guy approached me and I slipped and told him I was 17, when the cops came mom tried to seduce them and we both got cuffed and taken to the station. We got let out with a fine and a warning, I was quite worried about father finding out, Mom on the other hand, was determined to do it again.

I walked over to my dresser and took out my vertigo monochrome lace playsuit, I put it on and slipped on my white vans. I blow dried my hair and threw it into a high ponytail, I applied some mascara to my lashes and some red lip tint to my lips to make sure I didn't look to sweet.

Once I was satisfied with my appearance I picked up my phone and dialed Josie, "Hey hoe, I hope you're ready because I'm on my way to get you with Sen", Josie's voice sounded through the other end, "yes I'm ready, honk when you arrive" I said and hung up. I grabbed my bag and threw in some essentials, a pack of wet wipes, some lotion if anyone's hands get crusty, lip balm, sunglasses and a switchblade (in case of an emergency).

When I was downstairs, I grabbed a juice box and a packet of cookies. Totally appropriate for breakfast, Drew was sitting on the counter, focused on his phone, he looked up and scowled at my choice of food, "you shouldn't eat like that it's not good for you", "sorry Mom" I teased, he flipped me off and when I heard the honk of Josie's car I ran out the door and hopped into the passenger seat. I looked into the back and Sen was typing away on her phone, "Hey S" I called, she nodded her head in acknowledgment without looking up.

What's got her so consumed in that phone?

Sen rarely used her phone as it is, she was definitely hiding something, and I needed to know what it was. I turned back to face the front, the radio was blasting 'cool for the summer' and I sang along to the tune. We arrived at the mall and it took Sen an extremely long time to get her ass out of the car. Finally when she got out I sent her a questioning look, she made eye contact with me for a brief second and then she looked away and walked off towards the mall.
