Collision Of Keith & Dawn (COMPLETED)

Chapter 24- Part 1

Today is girly day in, hence why the boy had to vacate the premises. Although this would mean a whole day without seeing Keith, I was looking forward to some girl time. The boys had already left, they settled on going to the beach and continuing their surf lessons. Josie and Sen were quite hesitant about that decision, I don't blame them. The thought of your boyfriend being gawked at by almost naked chicks was not exactly what a girl wanted to think of.

Even I on a small scale was against them going to the beach, not because I worried about Drew and Dan, I was irritated by the thought of Keith eying other girls. I know I technically didn't have a right to feel annoyed as Keith and I were strictly friends, or at least to him we were. I still said goodbye with a sour expression. I was dressed in my bikini, floating on a blow up mattress while sipping on a corona. Josie and Sen were swimming around me, giggling and joking around, "So what's the deal with Keith and you?" Sen asked grabbing onto my float, Josie joined her and together they waited for an answer.

"Well we're friends" I said not exactly in a happy tone, "You want to be more than that don't you?" this time Josie asked, I waited for a second before nodding. Of course I wanted more, but I was afraid. Who wouldn't be? It could go so wrong, and I wouldn't be able to lose another person I loved. "You'll figure it out Dawn, You always do" she added and swam towards the ladder to get out. I watched as she climbed out and walked towards the table where our drinks stood. She picked up a glass of water and drank from it? Hold up, Josie hates water? She lived off of alcohol just like me, "Josie? Since when do you drink water?" I questioned, she stilled and I exchanged a look with Sen and we both shrugged, "I'm on a water detox" Josie said turning back to us, "Ah fair enough" I dismissed.

"So what do you girls want to do?" I asked threading the water with my fingers, "Oh I have an idea" Sen said excitedly, "What is it?", "Lets dye your hair", "My hair?", "Yes Dawn, your hair, your honey roots are showing, lets change it up, I have pink hair dye in my bag" she said, "where did you get that from?", "Uh the store, Jesus Dawn you're smart aren't you". I splashed her with water and she laughed getting out of the pool. I guess I do need a change.

I reluctantly agreed and we were now in the bathroom applying dye to my hair, "Maybe we should do stripes sideways" Josie piped up, "Am I a fucking zebra?" I asked arching my brow at her, "You could be" she giggled adding more dye on. After an hour I rinsed off my hair and blow dried it, when I looked into the mirror at the finishing look I found myself grinning, I adored it. Josie went ahead and cut it a lot shorter too, making it layered, to my surprise it turned out extremely well. I wondered if the boys would recognize me, if Keith would like it.

I went downstairs to where Josie and Sen were making food while I washed my hair. When I emerged from the corner, they looked at me and gasped, "Holy shit you look adorable", I frowned, "Great, just the look I was going for", "Catch!" Sen exclaimed throwing a baby tomato at me, I caught it and popped it into my mouth, the taste exploded in my mouth, She threw another one and I caught it again. I wasn't shocked to see that we made quite the mess, well what can I say? We're a messy bunch.

"Hey guys I need your help" I said catching their attention, I remembered I was in a war with Keith, war I needed to win. Their heads jerked towards me, suddenly interested, Josie removed the lettuce piece that was tangled in Sen's blue hair, and Sen wiped off the sauce on Josie's face and licked it off, Wow I'm friends with absolute weirdos... "What is it boss?" they asked in unison, okay? "I need help setting up pranks for Keith", "Oh I'm so in", "Me too" Sen joined in. This will be so much easier, I thought. I handed out the products and gave them their instructions, Sen was to cover Keith's underwear with itching powder while Josie was to replace his shampoo with glue.

Now I had the best one yet, I took out Keith favorite pair of shorts and using my new scissors I purchased a while ago, I snipped two holes on each butt cheek. Now this is DIY if you ask me, I should be a fashion designer. This was enough to win me 3 points, then Keith would prank me, not knowing I already have more pranks up my sleeve. Once I was satisfied with my work I could finally lay down and relax, I dropped onto a sun lounger out back and closed my eyes letting the sun coat my skin with a golden color.
