This can not be happening right now. I watched awed and entranced as Keith sang, while his fingers seduced the strings of his guitar. I've never heard him sing before, I had no idea it would sound like this. Raw passion and emotion. Like a John Green book. I wanted to cry. His eyes were closed, the asshole I knew was gone. Replaced by this broken boy, a boy with the voice of an angel. He was an angel in a body of a demon, a demon I now had a crush on.

Bloody fantastic.

I was crushing on Keith Black.

This was so not the plan, I was only supposed to bring back the boy I once knew. Not develop feelings for him. What the heck Dawn? How stupid could you be? My mind was shouting at me, it it were a human I'm sure it would beat the living daylights out of me. God I'd hit myself right now too, Keith can't know I like him. He's in love with that girl who I know nothing about. Yeah he flirted with me a few times but he does that with every girl. Nothing special.

"Hey Phillips?" I focused on Keith. He stopped playing and was looking at me confused. "Yeah?" I asked clearing my throat. "You okay?", I nodded, "Yeah sorry, I spaced out". He smirked at me, that cocky smirk I also began liking. "So what did you think?" he asked, I smiled, "Not bad" I lied. It was a thousand times better than 'not bad', but I couldn't let him know that. He'd realize I had a crush on him real quick. He wasn't stupid.

"You loved it don't lie" he said nudging me with his foot. I laughed, "Yeah whatever, come on" I said getting up. "Where to now?" he asked standing up too. "I want to go home, stomach hurts and I want to lay down". "Alright, lets go". We picked up our rubbish because I refused to leave it here. One thing I hate most in this world is littering, it drives me insane. The drive to my house was silent but pleasant, I felt Keith glance at me from time to time, but I didn't dare make eye contact.

When we pulled up into my drive, Keith cut the engine and I turned to him. "Want to sleep round?" I offered. His eyebrows rose surprised, "Your mom will let me?" he asked. I chuckled, "She likes you, of course she will". We got out and walked into the house. Mom was on the couch, watching some sort of movie by the looks of it. "Ma, Keith is sleeping round today" I said as I made my way up the stairs. "Okay baby, I'm here if you need anything" she called out.

Keith shut the door behind him and dropped onto my bed. "My laptop is there, I need a shower so do whatever you want" I grabbed my robe and my pj's. "What's the password?" he asked. I turned around and chuckled awkwardly, "It's Dawnshitsraibows101". He stared at me as if I were joking, then he typed it in and when the sound signaled he was in, he laughed. I shut myself in my bathroom and blocked out his laughter. Embarrassing.

I took my time showering, shaved my legs while I was in there too. I didn't want to face the reality that is Keith. Eventually though my fingers pruned and I had to get out. I slowly dried myself off, patted my wet hair and threw it into a sloppy bun on my head. I put my undies on and threw on my oversized print shirt. I couldn't be bothered to wear a bra, my boobs weren't huge so there wasn't a point.

I stepped out and looked over at my bed. Keith was laying against my headboard, my laptop on his lap and one hand stroking Mocca. I don't know why but the sight warmed my heart slightly. Keith here in my room, on my bed, in my space. I grabbed some fluffy rainbow socks from my draw along with my glasses and put them on, walking over to the bed. I crawled on and sat cross legged across from Keith.

He looked up at me and smiled, proceeding to look at what I was wearing. "Cute shirt" he said, I pulled it down, straightening the white fabric. "Thank you, it's my favorite", "You really like unicorns don't you?" he teased. My eyes grew big, "I LOVE THEM" I beamed. He placed the laptop beside him and cocked his head to the side. "Tell me why?" he urged. I shifted in my spot getting comfortable.
