Gone

Our beating was done, it wasn't as horrid as I though it was going to be. Only a couple of bruises. But wow did It hurt. Me and Dan had already packed. Just backpacks though. Our brooms had a cushioning charm put on them.

"Phil, is it time to go?" Dan asked.

"I guess. We can go out the window." I replied. Dan nodded. I nearly forgot my gameboy and book. Phew! I had no idea where we would go. I did manage to bring a small bag, which actually in the end could fit a whole cow in it if you wanted! So I packed a tent which practically was 10 Times the size that it looked on the outside.

I also brought food, money and other essentials, and the tent was pre-furnished. I grabbed my bags and swung open the window. The other students where not in yet.

"L-let's go!" I whispered before I flew out the window with Dan following. I-I felt so free! Just the wind and grass ahead of me.

"I figured we set up tent somewhere near a town! And then we-we go get some jobs! We can talk to someone and maybe get help, stay in there yard!" I yelled at Dan with wind in my face.

"Sounds like a plan Hun." He threw back! We flew for much longer before the sun rose and we saw a town beyond the fog. A joyful town, I could see bright colours and happy people from here.

"Maybe if we look a little sad and run down walking in town someone will help!" Dan hollered

"That's what I thought too dear!" I yelled. We continued flying until we arrived at the town. We put on our puppy dog eyes and sad faces. Soon enough a young witch came up to us.

"You boys look like you need some help." She said.

"Um ya, it may be quite obvious, but we kinda ran away and have been looking for a place to set up our tent." I said following with a cheeky smile.

"Ah, I see, well I know a place, my friend, he owns a bed and breakfast. If you helped out around the place he would let you two set up tent there." She stated

"Really!" I yelled

"Ya! I'll bring you there and he will most certainly let you stay. He has a son too. Quite nice actually." She said before leading us down the street to a large wood building. We walked in and it was beautiful! I reminded me of home. Two blue couches opposite from each other on either side of the room. There was a balcony hanging over the front desk in a U shape. 14 doors lined the walls on the balcony.

"Don!" The girl yelled. A old man appeared behind the desk.

"Molly!" He yelled at her.

"I found these two boys and there in need of a place to stay. They have a tent but need to set it up somewhere. They will work for you and everything to stay!" She siad.

"No worry! They don't need to work. They look like two run aways. They set up tent. Go look for job in town. Buy a small flat. Then move on! I will also give them breakfast because I am a nice man." He chuckled

"Thank-you good sir! It means a lot" I yelped.

"Ok Molly. Leave now. I got them now." He siad jokingly. They siad there goodbyes and he led us to his back yard.

"Set up boys!" He yelled. I pulled out my little bag and with a flick of my wand set up the tent.

"Wow!" He siad before pulling out his wand and making the yard look like a million pound yard. He then walked back inside leaving me and Dan to plan out how the rest of our lives would be.
