Alex's POV:
1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3... I counted each step away from my friend. 1, 2, 3...
"Bloody hell Alex! Stop!" Chris yelled. 1, 2, 3... I whispered. Everyone was annoyed, the crunching of leaves would make one cry. For 3 hours straight the only words spoken where stop or I hate you. The light haired boy who had come with us stuck beside Chris, pj at the head of the group and Dan and Phil behind. The forest should be ending soon, I could smell mountain air already. In boredom I kicked a rock, a small gray rock. *bash* right in the back of Chris's head. He grabbed the back of his head and sprung his head back. "Piss off Alex! Your-your not the only one who lost a best friend today! Ok!" Chris began breathing heavily. His face went bright red and he lunged at me. "Chris no!" Pj yelled. He had pushed Damon to the ground to get at me. Pj ran over to pull him off me. "Pj! Not now!" Chis yelled. Phil ran over to pull him off me and Chris threw his fist at Phil knocking him down.
"Phil!" Dan yelled running to aid his companion.
"Stop Chris. Please stop." I pleaded. Dan then got up and pushed Chris off me. Damon on the ground still eyes filled with fear. My face sore and swollen.
"I get it! You lost your friend! I've lost some too. But don't take it out on Alex!" Dan stated. Chris started to get up angrily.
"Chris stop, just listen!" Dan backed away a bit. "Alex lost his best friend to and treated him like piss before he died! How do you think he feels!"
"That's his fault not mine!" Chris threw back. Pj walked away to help Phil and check on Damon. Dan kneeled down to help Alex. He looked up and pushed his arm away.
"No more! I'm done!" He said and looked to pj. "Goodbye Peej." He frowned and stumbled off into the woods. Pj stopped in shock before coming over to pick me up. Dan helped Phil and Damon up and picked up the fallen supplies. Pj sniffed a bit. A small cold white flake landed on my head. It was snowing.
