*hi guys:)im sry I haven't updated it's just my friends have found this and in general I've grown away from this. I'll continue I guess though.*

*dans POV*

"Could we possibly sit you down to tell you?" I said anxiously. He nodded and proceeded towards the group of unfamiliar faces. I looked at Phil and approached the group.

"Hi could we just steal pj from you all for a second?" Phil asked. The group continued talking and pj joined us. Phil told pj it was time to explain to Chris what happened. We walked towards a bench beside the house and say Chris down. Phil sat next to him and I stood up with pj. Chris looked worried as Phil moved closer to him. He shifted slightly and looked Chris in the eye.

"After you left we found a cave. All 5 of us stayed their together..." Phil cleared his throat. "Alex was quiet and didn't seem happy. He wandered off and we found him on the edge of a cliff. He said he hadn't been honest with us and that he was a bad person. He said to say sorry to you. But, he-he..." Phil stopped because Chris went stiff.

"What didn't he tell us?" Chris said sternly.

"We-we don't know. He said he couldn't tell us." Pj answered in sympathy.

"I know exactly why." Chris's knuckles went white as he created fists with his hands. "We found him in a town, in an ally, all alone. Me and Charlie, we took him in. He said he was a runway. I always told Charlie we couldn't trust anyone. He could be working for the ministry. He didn't believe me." He sighed. "He was working for the ministry." My heart sunk. Alex had always seemed like an honest person, he seemed so translucent like he would never lie.

"Do you think he told the ministry where we are and our plan?" PJ asked.

"I don't know! I just need to go for a bit. I'm sorry." Chris got up and walked away turning the corner of the cabin to join the group. I looked at phil I sighed before sitting next to him on the bench. I looked at Pj and he just shook his head with his hands in his pockets and left.

"What have we gotten our selves into. This is becoming to much to handle. We left to be happy again not to get caught up in even more nonsense." I grumbled. Phil grabbed my hand and gripped it tightly looking down.

"Where else are we suppose to go. We lost our only shelter because we trusted someone and there's no going back." He looked me in the eye. "I know, I know we have to leave but we have something here and nothing out there. So just trust me and keep your chin up. Ok?" Phil said smiling. I paused for a second before responding.

"Okay." I smiled back kissing phil on the cheek. His cheek was ice cold and pink, but it was so delicate. He hugged me and stood up. Walking away and turning the corner to join the others. I let out a large sigh watching my breath come out in the winter air. Everything was going to be ok soon. Just me and phil soon enough. Like we wanted. I looked up at the white sky. Snow was falling lightly and not a cloud in the sky. My heart was beating slowly and I could hear every thump. I could feel the texture of the wood bench on my fingers and the smell of a fire burning inside the cabin. This life was so precious. Every second I've had since I've left I've wasted. I never appreciated how amazing this is. Right then, I felt happiness again. The happiness I hadn't felt in ages.
