Chapter 26: Back to normal

Back to school! Can't wait to see everyone. I walk into the cafeteria with a spring in my step. As I close in on the table, everyone cheers, causing me to to go Scarlet.

'Welcome back Cara!' Lanti screams louder than everyone else. She grabs me a pulls me into a tight embrace. 'I missed you.' She whispers into my ear.

'I missed you too Lanti. I missed everyone.' I sit in my normal space and the talking begins. I can't keep up so I observe instead lime Sherlock taught me.

Lanti is cuddled into Arthur and they both seem happy. He seems different around her too. He's actually smiling and not retorting to everything.

Merlin is deep in conversation, as always, and seems slightly annoyed about the topic. I think its something about Spock being a Vulcan or Romulan. Of course he's a Vulcan but someone thinks not.

Ruby is sat next to Merlin on her phone probably on Facebook sending angry comments to everyone. She doesn't get along with many people and I doubt she gets fan mail.

John is working on his science project; The solar system. He's asking Sherlock some questions but I think he doesn't understand it either. I quote 'it isn't important. I erased it.' John isn't particularly happy with that either.

Sam is sat opposite me, he won't look at me and isn't in the conversation either. He seems sad, his hair covering his eyes and his head drooped. I guess its about yesterday.

'Cara, help me. Merlin is saying the hound could take out Jon snow. Of course he couldn't.' Lanti pleaded at me.

'Oh don't listen. The hound is a much better fighter.'

'But the thing is Jon snow is gorgeous and he is a great fighter. He would win.'

'I think Jon would win, sorry Merlin.' I said, Lanti s point is very valid.

-buzz- there's the Bell. Lessons. I have science with Sherlock. Will be fun. Let's hope its the solar system. I laugh to myself.
