Burning: an example I use too much.

You've hurt me so much,
I'm damaged by you,
Everything you do,
It slowly kills me,
I forgave you,
Such a long time ago,
Because that's what you do,
For the ones you love,
But I can't help it,
Because you ignite the burning flame that ignites the fire in my soul,
You with your spiteful ways,
With your immature comments,
The way you look at me,
I'm so angry,
I don't want to be,
And you ask what's wrong,
But if I go on,
It'll burn us both down.
