Roselle set foot upon the edge of the cliff. "I was looking all over for you two!" She sat down beside me.

"A few cranks attacked me along the way. But some good gunshots aired across the forest and literally saved my ass."

Skylar looked at Newt as he did the same at he chuckled. "Let's just say that I'm constantly savin' girls without knowin' it"

"Anyway" Roselle ignored them. "They found a route down the mountain last night. And after a couple of miles from that is Denver's entrance. It would take like the whole day to get there." She narrated.

"Good that." Newt nodded. "Then we all better get goin'"

"They're all waiting for you two and a few people." She stood up and faced the woods. The mesmerizing sunrise didn't seem to have a slight effect on her expression. She was all serious. "What are you two waiting for?"

Skylar stood up and followed her. Newt followed behind.

"Would you be a gentlemen and lead us back to the group?" Roselle faced Newt.

He dropped his shoulder low. "You should be the one to know where that bloody place is. I mean I don't even know how I got here" He admitted.

She raised her brow and scratched her hair. "Just lead us up to the stream and I'll take it from there." She took a step back and gestured Newt to lead. Which he took half-heartedly.

"If I got eaten by some of the crazies alon' the way, I'll bloody haunt you" He began leading.

Skylar chuckled. Even if though there was nothing funny about it. I guess i just want to continually keep the positivity.

Suddenly, someone placed a hand on her shoulder.

It took her by surprise that she jumped from her position.

"Chill." Relief washed over her when she saw Roselle beside her. "I just want to talk." Her sarcastic face that she made for Newt earlier was gone.

"Go on I'm listening" Skylar nodded and walked slower besides Roselle.

"It's about my brother." Her face fell and seemed to be grasping for words. "You see... I didn't look for you for that specific reason... I mean I looked for you guys since you were gone the whole night... It's just that I need... I mean if it's okay.."

What. Skylar didn't processed any of it. She seemed so nervous. "Just get to the point." she said in a friendly tone.

Roselle calmed herself and took a deep sigh. "The effect of the Bliss towards Aaron is fading."

Skylar nodded for her to proceed. Although she already knew what Roselle was going to ask for.

"I already asked about it back at the palace but..." She paused. "He got worst last night. Seems like the effect of that drug started to fade. And can I ask for that? If it's alright?"

Skylar dug her hand to her pocket. 8 7 or 6 a few left. She hesitated to take it out of her pocket. But Roselle caught her expression.

Suddenly, she started to plead. Her voice started to get louder. "Please, please, I know he doesn't have much time left. But I want him to atleast feel... human."

"I promise that once we reached Denver, I'll find for supplies and finally pay you, please Sky." She noticed that Newt seems to be overhearing their conversation.

If me and Roselle had to reverse roles, I would do the same. "Alright" she nodded. "But I'm giving at the stream."
