Korra woke the next morning with a splitting headache and a fever. She scowled at the sunlight coming through the Windows and got up on unsteady feet, closing the blinds.

Climbing back in bed, she reached for her glasses and cell phone from the stand, flipping it open. She snorted, seeing there were missed calls from Mako. Typing in a message to him, she notified him that she was sick and wasn't coming. She fell asleep sometime after that, waiting for a reply.

When she woke the next time she found a cool cloth laid across her head, and the room was cool and dark. She was also changed into a tank top and shorts. Raising an eyebrow she tried to move, but let out a low groan instead. Damn, she thought. My muscles are so sore.

"Don't move around a lot, the fever you have is causing muscle spasms and your muscles lock up a lot."

Korra froze. She knew that voice, it had haunted her dreams all night last night.

"Asami? How the hell did you get in my house?"

"You forgot your keys in the car, and when you didn't come out I was worried. I came in to check up on you and you were sweating badly. So I took care of you."

Korra blushed, not use to having someone take care of her and was grateful Asami couldn't see her in the dark. She flipped open her phone to see a sarcastic reply back from Mako, sighing she snapped it shut.

"Well you can go now, I can take care of myself."

"I'm not leaving you here alone, and that's final."

Korra was surprised at the sudden force in the mechanics voice. It left absolutely no room for arguments.

"Fine, Whatever. There's food and stuff in the kitchen so just Help yourself to whatever you want."

She heard Asami hum in reply and got comfortable in bed again, her eyes closed. The silence in the room was comfortable, and soon Korra was back into a deep sleep.

Asami took this opportunity to look around Korra's apartment. Pictures hung on the wall of who she assumed were Korra's mom and dad. The man in the picture stood tall, with the same stormy eyes as Korra. The mother stood about shoulder length with kinder blue eyes and a smile with dimples. She knew she shouldn't be rummaging around in Korra's stuff, but she couldn't help it. She wanted to know more About this girl.

Looking in one of the drawers in the living room, She found a picture of Korra and Mako. Korra was wrapped up in Mako's arms, both of them smiling wide. Korra's eyes had a softer look to them in the photograph, and her smile was genuine. Asami felt a bit of anger bubble in her stomach and quickly put the picture back in the drawer. This was no way to act.

A cough came from the side of the doorway. Asami quickly turned to see Korra leaning against the door frame and could feel her cheeks heat.

Korra's body was tense, and it brought the line of her muscles out. Her lean tanned body was covered in sweat from the fever, and she was breathing heavily. It only made her look better.

"Looking for something or do you always snoop in people's personal business?"

Asami swallowed dryly, then opened her mouth to speak but closed it when Korra held up a hand.

"Save it, I don't need to hear excuses."

Korra walked slowly across the living room to the kitchen, taking a glass of cold water and downing it quickly. Her fingerprints were left on the cup from how hot her body temperature was.

"I really think you should lay back down, or else go take a cold shower."

Korra snorted and brushed past Asami, walking towards the bathroom.
