Asami went home with Korra after work to tell her what had happened with Mako, and she immediately called the dark haired boy.

"What the hell do you think you're doing beating up on a woman Mako?!"

Mako snorted in the phone, his voice sarcastic and callous.

"What happened wasn't any of your buisness Korra, stay out of my personal business with Asami."

"When personal business is abusing her then it is automatically my business. Why don't you come over here so I can teach you how much exactly it hurts."

"I could lay your ass out no problem, you're a weak spineless woman."

Korra growled into the phone. "Meet me behind the house in 5 minutes." She slammed the phone down on the receiver, seething with rage.

Asami put her hands gently on Korra's shoulder, a frown on her face.

"Korra please be careful, he could really hurt you."

"Asami I appreciate your concern but I can take Care of myself, my dad taught me self defense."

As she's walking to the backyard, Mako arrives in his car. Dressed in a collared shirt and black jeans, he almost looked attractive. The shirt was thin, showing his taught, tense muscles.

Korra stood across from him, waiting to throw the punch. When she did, her fist connected hard with his jaw and threw him sideways to the ground.

Mako got up immediately, lifting his arm to slam against her ribcage, knocking the wind out of her which makes her unsteady.

As Korra gained her balance she threw another punch to his face, hard enough to close his left eye. Tackling him she rolled on the ground on top of him, guarding her face when Mako attempts to throw another punch.

Mako's face was getting bloody, and a long gash across the top of his head from Korra's nails let blood drip into his eyes so he couldn't see. The split lip oozed blood down his neck and chest and warm blood was beginning to choke him.

Korra got off when he started emptying his stomach on the ground, the content of it being mostly blood. She had only a few scratches and Some bad bruises.

"Get up, you're being pathetic Mako. Next time you mess with Asami, I'm not gonna stop just because you're having trouble breathing."

Mako got up on unsteady feet, stumbling to his car. His tires screeched on the pavement as he took off down the road.

Korra stood in the yard still, breathing heavily. Her clothes were covered in blood and torn from the attempts Mako had taken.

"Korra, come inside and let me clean you up, please?"

Korra turned around and looked at the mechanic standing in the doorway. Her body language was giving off how worried she was about the younger girl.

Korra took a deep breath and nodded, sitting down inside on the edge of the bathtub as Asami took care of her.

Asami grabbed some gauze from the cupboard where Korra told her it was and started cleaning out Korra's wounds with peroxide, making Korra wince every few seconds.

"Thanks for getting me cleaned up Asami, I really appreciate it."

"It's the least I could do for you taking on Mako like that, I wouldn't have been able to stand up to him."

Korra smiled slightly, walking to her bedroom to lay on the bed. Asami stood nearby and ended up sitting on the edge.

"Are you gonna be alright?"
