Part Four

After everyone relaxed and Isabella's parents settled the Avengers into their large family room, they begun to explain.

"When Isabella was three, me and her mother divorced... For obvious reasons." Her dad gave a shaky laugh. "We were still friends, Isabella had no trouble with the whole situation. Anyways, about four months ago, Isabella's mother died and Isabella just became mute. It was summer vacation and all, she stayed with Ruby who helped around the house. We worked more than we would of liked to but working as a surgeon has its calls. I guessed she used her free time for more adventurous things." Tom ran his fingers through his hair.

Isabella was in the kitchen with Thor, making sandwiches and a mess. She laughed loudly before throwing a wet rag on Thor's hand.

"The therapist was suppose to... Help." Tom cleared his throat.

"So she has she improved?" Natasha asked, shifting her weight to one side.

"Tremendously! She's been laughing and even more open. I think you guys have been such a huge effect on her." Her father mused.

"My guess is that HYDRA was after what she could do." Bucky said, cracking his knuckles.

"I don't follow... What do you mean what's she could do?" Her father said confused, the Avengers sighed together.

"Who's gonna tell 'em?" Clint asked, leaning back.

"Not me." Steve, Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Bucky and Wanda said at the same time.

Vision sighed.

"You see, your daughter has capacities beyond the human abilities. So far she can teleport, speak telepathically or by touch and bend electronics to her will." Vision explained.

"Also invisibility." Everyone rose an eyebrow at Bucky. "I tried that one myself." He chimed.

"Isabella can do all that?"

"Most likely even more." Vision smiled.

"Won't that mean that... HYDRA will be after her again?" Her father asked worried.

"We can't protect her!" Tom wailed.

"Which is why I plan to make an offer." Tony sat up. "I'll like to take Isabella in, not for harm or war. But to train her how to protect herself from her own abilities and threats."

"She'll be completely safe, the tower is the safest place for her at the moment." Bucky added.

"And she'll be sent away during war." Steve offered.

"She'll visit whenever she wants and such." Natasha smiled.

"You absolutely promise that she won't be in harms way?" Her father asked, Wanda nodded. Isabella ran into the room, a grilled cheese sandwich in her hand and Thor chasing after her.

"Isabella! You took my food!" Thor cried, Isabella shook her head, laughing harder as she raced back into the kitchen.

"For the love of Odin-!" Thor laughed, racing in after her.

"He is a God." Bruce said, Tony snickered.

"I want the best for Isabella, and obviously the best are you guys. Well, talk about the smaller details later but for now, Isabella is yours." Her father spoke slowly, Tony shook his hand. Isabella shrieked at the sign of the man limping down the stairs, Bucky made his hands into fist.

"I'll handle it." Clint, Bucky and Thor said at the same time.

Clint shot an arrow through his knee, Bucky punched him so hard, he dented the wall again and Thor summoned lighting onto the man.

"Mhm, yeah, Isabella should be fine." Her dad whispered.

FIN.
