Royalty - Thor Odinson x Reader

{ I had no idea what to name this chapter but okie dokie }

Walking in to find the Avengers sprawled out on the couch and floor, you sat down next to Thor.

"We did this a while back, Tony." Natasha teased, Pietro scoffed.

"I believe last time you did this was when Ultron made his grand appearance and I died for a day." Pietro sighed, Wanda shuttered at the thought.

"Hey, hey. It's been awhile, we've got new people and," He cracked his fingers. "I think I got worthy."

"I was the only one who even got close to worthy." Steve boasted.

"Oh please, Tony!" Clint laughed, leaning against the couch. Thor laughed extremely loud, making you able to feel every vibration from your head to toes.

I wonder who does his hair?

"You are welcome to try again, Stark." Thor granted, Bruce returned with a few drinks and passed them around.

"Rhodey isn't around to help you now." You commented, Tony brushed his shoulder off.

"I can do it by myself."

"Sure Tony, whatever floats your boat." Natasha sipped on her drink, leaning back to watch Tony fail.

"Wait, wait, wait." Tony huffed, rolling up his sleeves. "I was just testing that out, ya know, preview."

"Tony just fail to pick up the hammer again." Bruce said, Tony tried again and failed. Thor laughed again, clapping Tony's shoulder and sitting him down.

"Nice." Clint said, giving over exaggerated wink and thumbs up.

"Lift it then Bird Brain." Tony challenged and started a bickering between the group, you hadn't noticed because wow Thor had the cutest braids in his hair.

"The old man won't be lifting nothing." Pietro laughed, Wanda giggled along.

That hair looks so soft oh my

Those arms, those eyes, that face... His entire body okay, that's enough. No more looking at Tho- okay five seconds more.

Five four thrrrrreeee two one aND one half and that's a really nice sweater.

"Well?" Tony poked your ribs, snapping you out of your daze. You saw everyone looking at you and you shyly smiled.

"What?" Wanda looked at you with a creepy smile.

"Go lift the hammer, or at least try." Natasha encouraged, you stood up and sluggishly walked up to the hammer. It sat so innocently on the table, unmoved and looking oh so light.

"C'mon Y/n, it won't bite." Steve grinned at you, Thor leaned forward in his seat to watch.

"It looks heavy, I don't need this." You threw your hands up, everyone groaned in laughter.

"C'mon, Y\N!' Pietro started to cheer, Clint and Bruce joined in. Wanda signaled to the hammer with her eyes and Natasha was clapping along.

"Oh, come on! Thor, help us out here." Tony clapped Thor on his back, causing you to laugh dryly.

"Lady Y/n." Crap, here come the baby blues. "It would be interesting to see if you can lift Mjolnir." You sighed in defeat and wrapped your right arm around the handle.

"One hand?" Tony commented. "Someones cocky."

"Oh shut up Tony, you're just mad that you can't lift the hammer." Natasha sassed.

"Alright enough bickering, let's see if Y/n is worthy." Steve calmed the group down again, putting all attention on you.

Sighing softly, you put little to no effort in raising your hand along with the hammer.

"Wait!" Tony screamed, scaring you into picking up the hammer a bit to quick.

"T-tony!" You whined, carefully setting the hammer on the floor next to Thor.

"She's worthy!" Wanda laughed, causing the whole group to holler or, in Tony's situation, to give Clint ten bucks.

"Pleasure doing business with you." Clint laughed, pocketing the money.

"You guys bet on me?!" You asked, still dazed from the fact that you could lift the hammer.

"Well only they did." Pietro explained, Clint punched Pietros shoulder.

"Lies, you were trying into the bet but it was too late." Clint laughed.

"Oh, haven't you got another bet?" Wanda asked, Natasha swirled her drink.

"Man, can't wait to get the big payout." Natasha sighed, you leaned on the couch.

"Are you alright, Lady Y/n?" Thor asked, walking around to stand in front of you, while the rest of them fought over bets.

"A little surprised, that's all." You smiled, Thor picked up Mjolnir and tossed it between his hands before holding it out to you. "I rather not."

"Please." Baby blues. "I think we have already established that you are worthy." Thor smiled, making you carefully take the hammer.

"It's weird." You whispered, gently moving around your arm and eventually examining the design. "How am I possibly worthy?"

"I am not quite sure how Mjolnir choses who is worthy or not..." Thor hand met your free one and you looked over to where your hands joined.

Oh sweet... finally man finALLY

"Well, I mean... does anyone know how Mjolnir work?" You mentally face-palmed at your horrible attempt at a joke.

Sheesh, then we wonder how you fail flirting

"Y/n, you seemed panicked, is anything wrong?" Thor questioned your sudden pull away from his hand and drop of Mjolnir.

"No, I'm fine." You smiled tightly, pushing up against the couch.

wow tony the one moment I need you to be useful and you fail me

"So... you won't mind if I do... this?" He asked, you tried to look above his head, but that failed.

"Do what...?" You mumbled in responses, Tony gave a quiet sigh of anger from across the room.

"What is it Tony?" Bruce asked, Tony watched as Clint stomped loudly.

"Thor and Y/n are making out, some of us owe Natasha some money." Tony grumbled, pulling out a 50 from his back pocket that Natasha snatched out his hand.

"Thank you, Tony and Clint." Natasha laughed, turning back to find Y/n redder than a tomato.

"Let's hope that the only hammer being lifted tonight." Tony said bitterly, Wanda shook her head.

"I give it a week, Thor is quite persuasive." Wanda chuckled, Natasha high fived her.

Tony shook his finger. "I give it a month, Y/n isn't that easily going to fall for Thor tricks."

Clint threw 20 dollars in the middle.

"Let's bet."

Honestly, Natasha and Wanda weren't sure what they were going to do with all the money they got by the end of the bet.
