MY HONEST TO GOD STRUGGLE TO FIND WIFI TBH
Swinging your legs over the couch arm, you flipped another page in your book before closing it completely.
"Where is that old man?" Pulling the phone closer to yourself, and dialing to Tony's phone, you hummed along to some song you couldn't quite remember the name of.
"Oh shit, um, hey." Tony's voice came over the phone, followed by a impressive amount of curse words.
"Hello to you too." You added sourly, you traced the books cover while speaking. "Tony, Steve hasn't answered his phone and you are always on his shit so, where the guy?"
"I don't know." Tony coughed, you rolled your eyes.
"Tony, I know you're lying."
"We aren't even in the same place."
"I can sense it from here."
"That's a lie."
"Tony." Dragging out the y in his name. "C'mon, I mean we were talking like three hours ago and then the call dropped. He should be in the state by now."
"Y/n, it's really not my place to tell you." You sat up straight.
"Tell me what?"
"Nothing."
"Anthony." You growled into the phone.
"I have to go." After a very upset click sound, you grabbed your purse and car keys.
"Fine, I'll go figure it out myself."
Driving angry wasn't good and for some reason caused your all ready stressed mind to go into the worst situations.
"If he's dead, I'm going to kill him." Slamming shut the car door, and marching to the door of Tony's tower, you whipped open the door. "Where's the idiot?" You asked no one.
"With Bruce in the Lab." JARVIS replied, you walked into the elevator and shook your head.
"Take me to Tony, and let him know I'm coming." You sighed, rumbling through your purse, you pulled out your pocket knife. The elevator door opened, you took a step out and stood there. "One...Two...and Three." Just as a Tony took the corner, the knife went through the shirt and into the wall, sticking him there.
"You know," Tony chuckled nervously. "Each time you do that you slowly get closer to my skin, did you know that?" You walked forward and pushed the knife deeper into the wall.
"Oh, I know." You pulled out the knife and snapped it shut. "Where's my husband?" Tony sighed, so you shoved his shoulder into the wall. "I don't like repeating myself."
"I really glad you stopped taking those classes, cause you are so strong." Tony wheezed, you pinched him. "Hey!"
"Tell me."
"Steve sure knows how to choose them." Tony muttered. "He's in the medical area thing you know... hey I wasn't done speaking!" Tony calls after you as you dart down the hall, repeatedly crashing into the walls when you take a corner too sharp.
"Clint!" You say slightly out of breath, his eyes widen when he sees you. "I already know about Steve."
"Good, I didn't want to be the one to tell you, you get violent when someone you love gets hurt." Clint sighed in relief, you threw your hands up.
"Why is no one panicking! Steve get hurt!" You asked, Clint held back the laugh.
"Oh, so they didn't tell you completely..." You frowned. "He's all yours." Clint motioned to the door to he's left.
Slamming open the door, you found Steve sitting on the bed, he's back faced towards you. Rushing your purse on the bed on your way around, you grabbed Steve's face in your hand and faced it your way. Turning it around, Steve gave a confused frown while you stepped back and checked his suit for blood.
"Y/n." Steve spoke through a squeezed mouth. "Darling." You pointed his face to reach your eyes.
"Aren't you hurt?" You asked. Steve chuckled but stopped at the sight of your icy eyes.
"Nothing a band aid couldn't handle." You sighed, sitting next to Steve in relief.
"Good." You muttered.
"You know, you don't have to panic every time something goes wrong." Steve commented.
"Yeah, I do."
"I disagree."
"Of course you do."
"What does that mean?"
"Alright, Imagine this." Turning to face Steve, you rolled up your sleeves and pushed back your hair. "What if we just so happened to switch places, I mean you are me and I'm you... an Avenger. If it were like that, I would be a traveling around kicking Hydra's ass and being all muscles and hot." Steve chuckled at that. "And you, well in this story, would be working some simple job or at home. And if your anything like me you would constantly worry right?"
"Aren't kickass though?"
"Yeah but that doesn't mean I'm invincible. Okay, anyways, you would worry right because your wife is going against these super powered guys and she could possibly die at any point and you get a call out of no where saying that your wife is hurt and..." You shrugged. Steve wrapped his arm around you and brought you closer to him.
"You're worried that I won't make it home one day."
"It's only a matter of time."
"Well, that time isn't now." Steve kissed your head before standing up. "Let's go."
You looked up. "Where?"
"Home."
"Do I get to see muscles?"
"Sure."
Grabbing your purse, you raced out the door. "Come on!"
{ Nice :) I wrote this horribly :) }
