Evelyn remained calm. She pushed the branch out of the way and continued walking. She felt cold. She was only in her shorts, a singlet and a training sneakers.

The cold air hit her face as she finally left the forest and stood in the open. The waterfall was beautiful. She was awed by its glory, the glory of the earth. It was a beautiful scenery.

The moon was a little obscured by the cloud and shone on the surface of the flowing water below. The water itself was beautiful as it tumbled in a mad rush down the rocks and several feet till it hit the stream it had created.

Below was misty, perhaps, due to the rushing water. The wind toyed with her hair and she felt at home. Yes, this was her home. She felt she belonged here. This magical waterfall and the glorious moon and the woods all around her.

She suddenly caught a glimpse of something in the water fall. She craned her neck and moved closer to the edge tentatively so she did not slip and fall. She looked, narrowing her eyes. There was indeed something in the mist.

It was as if there was a cleft behind the water fall as the rushing water made a mad curtain over it, obscuring it. She saw the thing again. When she looked the more, she realized it was someone.

"Hellooo!" She called out, cupping her mouth at both sides so her voice tried to beat the mad rushing noise of the water fall. "Is anybody there?!"

She saw the figure again and suddenly it moved into view. It was a man with shoulder-length hair. The wind was stronger down there and blew his hair wild around his face and neck.

Evelyn gasped when she realized that he was completely naked. He was tall and slim and muscular, the muscles obvious in the right places and she was naked. He will surely die of cold, She thought. Why would a man come to the falls, naked, late this night?

She cupped her hands over her mouth again and shouted. "Hey!" He didn't reply, he only stood there looking like a god, most of the water splashing on his skin. "Are you okay down there?" She shouted again. "Do you need help...? I'm a doctor, I can help you!"

Just then, the man raised his head and looked at her. Evelyn's heart skipped a bit. Oh my God! She muttered to herself. What god blessed this man with such beauty? He was so beautiful that she was dumbfounded and could only stare back at him, hypnotized by his beauty, his strong features, his beguiling eye and his demi-god body.

Suddenly his eye balls turned red. She gasped and extreme fear gripped her. She slowly began to back off from the edge of the cliff. This was no human. This was no human. She kept repeating in her head as she backed away. She had to get away, get away as far from him as possible.

The problem was she didn't know where she would run to because she didn't even know how she got into the woods in the first place. She turned to flee and ran smack into something solid. She staggered backwards from the impact.
