Evelyn slowly turned half way, rubbing her temple with two fingers. Jalil noticed and looked at her. "What is it?" He asked.

She hesitated then whispered. "I can feel him."

Jalil fully turned to back the bar, scanning the entrance of the club and the dance floor. "Where is he?"

"He's in here with us somewhere." She said softly also scanning the crowd. Then she sighted Jason, he was walking towards one of the private couches. In fact, exactly the one Ramsey and Daphne had vacated. "There he is..." She barely whispered, her eyes following him.

"He's urm..." Jalil floundered for the word to use but Evelyn simply said beside him.

"Beautiful." She muttered, clearly astonished by his handsomeness. He was exactly how she had seen him in her dreams and envisioned him to be, but... Not naked.

Jalil simply shrugged. "So, now you have seen him, what do we do? I'm supposed to go meet him and haul his arse here or am I supposed to join you in drooling over him."

"No, I'm not drooling over him!" Evelyn snapped at him, offended that he was actually right, she was practically drooling just from the mere sight of him.

Jalil groaned inwardly and turned back to the bar while Evelyn continued staring at Jason. As if feeling her eyes on him, his eyes lifted and found hers through the dancing people between them. On normal circumstances, she would have broken the gaze but she couldn't help it, it was like he had some power over her that was beguiling and enchanting at the same time.

At least, his eyes looked normal than in her dreams. He was sitting in a relaxed way with no care in the world and the way he sat and his expression, showed that he didn't really talk much so she ruled trying to make a conversation with him out.

"Eve?" A whisper suddenly came.

Evelyn broke the gaze and turned to look at Jalil who was still seated in the position he had taken, facing the bar after Jason came in. "What?" She asked, blinking several times.

Jalil glanced at her and shrugged. "What?" He asked too.

Evelyn frowned and punched his arm. "You just called me. Quit playing games."

Jalil's forehead creased with a puzzled frown. "No, I didn't."

Evelyn frowned, realizing the truth from Jalil's expression. If Jalil didn't call her then who did? She turned sharply to look at Jason again. He was still staring at her and his expression was impossible to read from such a distance.

"Eve..." The whisper came again. It was like a caress on her skin.

Evelyn focused on Jason, his lips were not moving but she felt the words were coming from him, but how? "Don't be too shocked, it makes you pale." The voice came again.

Evelyn was completely confused now and leaned closer to Jalil. "Jalil, can you hear someone talking?" She asked, wanting to be sure that she was not beginning to hallucinate.

Jalil shook his head. "I dunno how I can afford to hear anyone with such a loud music." Jalil shouted a bit so she could hear him.

Evelyn straightened up again and decided it was best if she didn't look at the vampire. He was beginning to make her act weird. She turned to the bar, sitting like Jalil and trying to do anything to get the vampire off her mind.

"Is that the best you've got?" The voice came again but with a chuckle laced with mockery this time. She clasped her hands over her ears hoping to shut out whoever was talking to her.
