"Is he bothering you?" Tony asked as soon as Evelyn reached the counter.

Evelyn shook her head and glanced over her shoulder at Nigel. "He's quite lewd with words but he won't bother anyone."

Tony regarded Nigel for a while and gave a subtle nod. "But he still looks like trouble to me."

"All he wants is a beer and he'll be gone before we know it." Evelyn said.

Tony frowned, puzzled. "Vampires don't drink beer."

"Blood, I know..." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "But it's on a condition that I talk with him."

Tony's puzzled frown was replaced by a displeased one. "And what the hell does he want you for?"

"Beats me." She replied and watched Tony take a beer out of the fridge and placed it on her tray.

He glanced over her head at Nigel again and asked. "Are you gonna oblige him?"

"No." She simply replied and turned the beer to lie on its side on the tray. She grabbed the opener. "I'm on duty." She smiled at Tony who returned a small smile and she turned and walked up to Nigel. "Your beer." She said and placed it on the table in front of him then opened it. "Do enjoy." She said to him and turned to leave when he suddenly grabbed her hand stopping her. She turned to frown down at him as the stream of pleasure between them began again.

"We had an agreement." He said softly to her.

"It was your request and I never agreed to it." She swallowed hard, past the knot forming in her throat. The pleasure had crawled up her arm and was beginning to seep into her body gradually. "Now, let go!" She said feebly. Of course she didn't want the pleasure to stop.

"Fine, I guess it's all wrong to force a lady to do something against her will but I could compel you." He smiled slyly and gosh how handsome he looked, especially when his smile revealed his small pointy incisors which sprang out to their full lengths when vampires wanted them to.

Evelyn smiled smugly and said to him in a challenging tone. "Why not try and see how that works for you?"

Nigel stared at her for a while and smiled again. "Fine, I'll go disgustingly polite like you humans do, please, sit down." He let go of her hand and gestured to the empty chair opposite him. He had chosen to leave her hand because he was beginning to react down there again. For the love of blazes, no woman had ever made him feel this way before...except one but it was in the past now.

She smiled good naturedly and he thought that she would oblige and share some of her time with him when she suddenly said firmly through her smile. "No." Before he could stop her, she went back to the counter and back to another table across the room to take a new order from a band group that had just come into the diner. Nigel watched her keenly, his eyes never leaving her. She smelt different from the other humans and instead of her aura shimmering green, hers was gold.
