Chapter Seven

Katelyn POV

I woke up and looked at a nearby clock. "3:00am." That wasn't my clock. I realized I was still at Kendall's. I turned over and saw him sleeping with his mouth slightly open. I'm glad it wasn't that awkward to be sleeping together.

I'm glad anything between us really wasn't awkward. I sighed and got up, I found Kendall's master bathroom after many failed attempts. I turned on the light and shut the door. "Man, this bathroom is the size of my room." Kendall was stupid rich. I went to the bathroom and came back to bed.

"Katelyn?" Kendall groaned. "What are you doing?" He had his eyes closed still, barely comprehending what he was even saying."I just went to the bathroom." I was about to walk out the room. "Where the hell are you going?" I shrugged, "To go sleep in another room."

"Why? You don't wanna sleep with me?" I looked around at back at him. "Do you wanna sleep with me?" He nodded. "I don't mind, it isn't awkward to me. If you're uncomfortable, you can go to another room...if you want." I nodded and came back over to the bed.

"You're bed is really soft by the way." He chuckled. "Custom, thank you." I rolled my eyes. "You are just so rich aren't you?" He nodded, "You know it." He put the blanket back over him and pulled it away from me. "Um, excuse me. I need some blanket." He looked back at me.

"You have, so much blanket." I looked down at myself. "Um, where do you see any blanket on my body?" He laughed and gave me some blanket. I grabbed it. "Thank you Kendall." He giggled into the pillow, and the next sounds I heard out of him were light snoring.

I looked at the clock. "6:00am." I got up and looked around for my dress. I had to be at the studio at 7:30, so I had to go home and get ready before I went. I looked over at Kendall who was still just a sound asleep. I sighed. Should I wake him up? I'll wake him up.

I shook him gently. He was still sleep. I shook a bit harder and his eyes fluttered open. "Huh? What? What's wrong?" I grabbed my dress. ."I need to go home, so I can get ready to go to the studio." He rubbed his eyes and looked at his clock. "6:00am?" I nodded.

"Damn you go to work early, you're the boss. You can come in anytime you want." I shrugged, "I just like to make sure everything is in line." He nodded. "Do you have to be there for any specific reason, or are all your positions filled up?" I thought, "All positions are filled up."

"So, you don't need to go there everyday. If you wanna make sure things are running smoothly, buy a camera system." I nodded, "Yeah, that's a good idea, but I don't exactly have the money to get that." He was silent for a while. "I'll buy it for you, so you don't have to go to work everyday."

I waved my hands, "I couldn't ask you to do that Kendall, thank you though." He put his hand up, "No, no I insist. Let me buy this for you. Believe me, it'll be a great asset to your business and your life." I nodded and thought. Well if he's offering. "Ok, I'll take you up on that."

He smiled, "Great, my buddy owns the company Super Surveillance Incorporated, so I'm sure I can get you the highest tech of  cameras. I'll call him today." I smiled, "Ok, I just have to tell my staff I'm putting cameras in."

"No, no, no you do not wanna do that. You want get what really goes on when you're not there. You cannot tell them." I looked at him weirdly. "But aren't you supposed to tell, you know for their privacy?" He sighed, "Katelyn, it's your art studio. You have the right to put whatever the hell you want. If they don't like it, they can leave and they'll be out a job and it won't be hard to replace them considering we live in LA."
