Katelyn POV
I wipe the tears that were forming in my eyes.
"Is there a problem with us Katelyn, do we need to talk about something?" Kendall asked.
"No, it's nothing important."
"Well, it's making you emotional, so..." I pulled myself together.
"I'm fine, I swear." He nodded and looked at be unconvinced. He straightened himself back up.
"Ok." He kissed my cheek and walked out of Kody's room. I walked out behind him. I went downstairs and sat in the living room next to Kendall. He was on his IPad looking at something. He seemed conflicted. He ran his hand through his hair and put his IPad down.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He looked at me.
"My dad's company is crashing into the dirt." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Isn't Brad running it." He nodded.
"He was, until they saw how shit of a CEO he was." He laughed.
"Oh..." He shrugged and stood up.
"My dad is in prison for a very long time, maybe I should step in. I know I'm a hypocrite if I do, but at least it makes me money, I do like money. What do you think Katelyn?" I bit my lip and looked down.
"Kendall, whatever you want, I'm ok with it." He frowned and nodded.
"Ok." A knock was at the door. Kendall raised his eyebrows. "How did they get pass security, must be someone I know." He went over to the door and opened it. It was a man with blond slicked back hair with a well tailored black suit.
"Tyler Reid." Kendall said and shook his hand. He moved aside to let him in. Tyler Reid looked my way and smiled.
"Madam." He said with a British accent. I smiled.
"Hello." He smiled and looked back at Kendall.
"What can I do for you?" Kendall asked. Tyler Reid looked down with a sigh, and put his hands in his pockets.
"Kendall, your father's company is failing miserably, and you are the man who knows the most out of anyone." Wow, we were literally just talking about this. Kendall chuckles. "I know you and your father aren't the best of friends, but we need you at this company. I would take you over Brad any day, I knew he was gonna be crap when he started working at SchmidtCorp." Tyler Reid looked at Kendall.
Kendall laughed and threw his head back. "I can't believe I'm doing this." He looked up at Tyler Reid through his eye lashes and nodded. He came over to him and shook his head. "Meet your new CEO." Tyler Reid nodded excitedly.
"Yeah, you are gonna make so much money Kendall. It'll be worth it." I intervened.
"But the more important part is not money, it's about a new experience to the start of a new career Kendall." He rolled his eyes.
"Yes, yes Katelyn. I know." Tyler Reid smiled and looked at Kendall.
"Alright, see you later boss." Tyler Reid looked back at me and nodded then headed out the door. I went over to Kendall and patted his back.
"Congrats Kendall, you are a CEO." He adjusted his tie and nodded.
"Thanks babe, I feel like a new man." I chuckled.
"Well, I should get back home." He shook his head.
"You should just move in with me Katelyn." I raised my eyebrows.
"You want me to move in?" He nodded and put his forehead against mine. He kissed my lips.
"Yes, of course I want you to." I narrowed my eyes and looked in another direction. I actually never thought about moving back in with Kendall. I guess I'm just concerned with Holden because, he tells me everything, and I feel that if I am not there that, that will change. Kendall and I's relationship has been very good, but I just never thought about moving in with him.
"When my parents get back, I'll consider it." He shrugged and nodded.
"Ok, I'm holding you to that." He kissed me again. It's funny, we never really kiss, we should probably do that more often.
"Bye Kendall, I'll see you later." He hugged me and let me go. I went out the door with things to think about.
