"This one is so your fault!" I yelled over the sound of the two speeders chasing us.
"Would you please shut up and try and find a way to get out of this situation?" Obi-wan yelled back
"Oh so now I have to save us from your-" I was cut off by two lasers being deflected back to the speeders and destroying them.
I looked forward to see Qui-gon and another.....thing?
I raised an eyebrow to Obi-wan as we walked over there. He shrugged as he caught his breath.
"What's this?" I asked Qui-gon
"A local. Let's go before more show up." He told me before motioning for us to follow him.
"Mure? Mure did you spake??!?" The local asked incredulously
Obi-wan, Qui-gon and I broke into a run while he tried to keep up.
"Ex-squeeze me, but de mosta safest place would be GungaCity. Tis where I grew up ... Tis a hidden city."
We all stopped running
"A city!" My master inquired
The local nodded his head.
"Uhhu."
"Can you take us there Jar Jar?" Qui-gon asked.
"Ahhh, ... on second taut ... no, not willy, no." Jar Jar spoke
" No??!" Qui-gon asked clearly getting upset.
"Iss embarrissing, boot ahh... My afrai my've bean banished. My forgoten der Bosses would do terrible tings to my. Terrible tings if my goen back dare."
Jar Jar told us while wringing his hands nervously
I heard a loud pulsating sound in the distance.
"You hear that?" My master asked Jar Jar.
"Yeah."
"That's the sound of a thousand terrible things heading this way..." He drifted off
"If they find us," Obi-wan started
"they will crush us, " I followed his lead
"grind us into little pieces," he continued walking slowly towards Jar Jar making him stumble.
"And blast us into oblivion!" I finished
"Oh! Yousa point is well said. Dis way! Hurry!" Jar Jar gulped before turning and running into a swamp.
I Groaned in annoyance and followed after him.
"How much furtber Jar Jar?" I asked started to struggle through the deepening water. I'm a short person and both Obi-wan and Qui-gon are pretty tall so it gets a bit hard on my part sometimes.
"Wesa goen underwater, okeyday?" He responded
The three of us pulled out small capsule sfrom our belts that turn into breathing masks.
" ... and my warning yous. Gungans no liken outsiders, so don't expicin wern welcome." Jar Jar told us
"Don't worry, this has not been our day for warm welcomes." Obi-wan responded
I hummed in agreement.
Jar Jar jumped and yelled out, as he did a double somersault with a twist, and dived into the water.
Breath masks on, Qui-gon, Obi-wan and I waded in after him. Before we continued, Jar Jar resurfaced.
" Ahh... yousa follow me now, okeyday"
