Qui-gon, Obi-wan and I stood in a tall stately room. Twelve Jedi sit in a semi-circle around us. Obi-wan and I were standing behind Qui-gon in the center of the room.
The Senior Jedi is Mace Windu. To his right, the Jedi Master, Yoda.
"My only conclusion can be that it was a Sith Lord." I snapped back to reality when I heard My Master say this.
"A Sith Lord?!?" Master Windu asked incredulously
"Impossible! The Sith have been extinct for a millenium." Master Ki-Adi added
"The very Republic is threatened, if involved the Sith are." Master Yoda commented. "I do not believe they could have returned without us knowing." Master Windu said skeptically
"Hard to see, the dark side is. Discover who this assassin is, we must." Master Yoda said
"I sense he will reveal himself again." Master Ki-Adi said.
"This attack was with purpose, that is clear, and I agree the Queen is the target." Master Windu agreed
"With this Naboo queen you must stay, Qui-Gon. Protect her." Yoda told my master
"We will use all our resources here to unravel this mystery and discover the identity of your attacker... May the Force be with you." Master Windu concluded
The three of us bowed. And Obi-wan and I turned to leave when Master Yoda said "More to say have you?"
Obi-wan and I looked at each other and back to Qui-gon.
"With your permission, my Master. I have encountered a vergence in the Force." My Master said. he glanced at me and I shifted.
"A vergence, you say?" Master Yoda asked
"Located around a person?" Mace inquired
"A boy... his cells have the highest concentration of midi-chlorians I have seen in a life form. It is possible he was conceived by the midi-chlorians." Qui-gon explained
"You're referring to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the force." Master Windu spoke leaning forward in his chair. "you presume it's this..boy?"
The other masters on the council murmured to each other.
"I don't presume-" Qui-gon started but was cut off by Master Yoda.
"But you do, revealed your opinion is."
"I request the boy be tested." My Master stated
The Jedi all looked to one another. They nodded and turned back to Obi-wan, Qui-gon and I.
"Trained as a Jedi, you request for him?" Yoda inquired
I sensed someone was looking at me and I turned to see Master Windu looking towards me. I tried to keep my mind off Briste.
"Finding him was the will of the Force...I have no doubt of that. There is too much happening here..." I heard Qui-gon say.
"Bring him before us, then." Mace said
"Tested he will be." Yoda finished
"Alondria, I sense there's something your not telling us." Master Windu stopped me. I exhaled nervously.
Obi-wan gave me a small smile as to boost my already low confidence.
