Today I was in the town getting some supply's for my owners hut. He never gave me his name, saying it was better to call him sir or owner. I prefer sir.

He always comes with, saying he needs to keep an eye one me. So as we walk down another path, I wasn't able to look at some of the cool thing. Like the big animals walking around, or some of the things that were being sold.

Once we came to the dealer with the food my owner ate I was to get the needed things while he payed. As I picked the dead frogs I saw a basket of bread. It was amazing, bread? Out here? Almost unheard of. But there it was.

I don't eat much, only what and when my owner allows it. So, I couldn't help but be infatuated with this loaf of bread.

"Briste! What do you think you're doing!" My owners language ripped through the area. I looked up and noticed I had wandered over to the bread, leaving the basket of dead frogs on the ground.

"Sorry sir." I mumbled, scared of him. "I don't know what I was thinking."

"You child!" He roared, coming over to me and slapping me across the face. No one flinched or tried to help, but they watched if course.

I was kicked in the stomach, right were he kicked last night. I'm positive he's broken a rib. I was slapped again, but that wasn't what I concentrated on. I felt that pull again, the one I felt last night only much stronger.

I could almost feel a presents running up to us. Then I heard a noise in which sounded like a weapon being unleashed, it sounded hot almost burning.

I saw a purple glow hover over me, blocking my owner from striking me again. "What is you're business, hitting a child like that?" The voice of a woman snapped. Directing her statement to my owner, who looked bewildered.

He then collected himself and tried to get to me but the woman who held the glowing sword stepped forward, putting a leg over me.

"She is my slave! Jedi!" My owner said.

Jedi? What is that. I think I've heard of them before. They protect people with the force I think it was called. And, um, the thing she's holding must be a, uh.

I was brought back to reality when she looked to me rather confused. She must not speak his language. "He said. she's my slave, jedi." I translated. I only know two languages, English and the language my owner speaks. I never learned what it actually was.

She had a hard look on her face when she looked back to my owner. "She is no longer your slave, scum. I'm freeing her right now!"

My eyes widened at her words. Freed? I'm, I'm to be free?

"No she is mi-" he didn't finish as the women stepped closer to him, bringing her large purple glow swoard thing closer to him. He froze then glared, but waved his hand and turned away leaving.

She stood her place for a few more seconds then the glowing part of her weapon disappeared and she knelt down. She offered me her hand and I took it and she helped me up.

"Thank you." I said, slightly moving away from the woman. She was a bit short, with long blond hair and bright blue eyes. She wore tan, clean clothing as well.

"Not a problem-" she stopped, mentioning me to say my name. "Briste."

"Pretty, no last name?" She asked, confused that only one name was given. I nodded and she sighed.

"Well I'm Alondria Katon, and you're coming with me." She stated and held her hand out for me to grab. But I didn't.

"Why?" I asked, unwilling to be made a slave once again.

"Its alright, Briste. I have freed you, you're safe with me." She comforted me. Still hesitant I grabed her hand and we walked.

"Do have any family? Parents?" She asked. I shook my head, unwanting to talk about it. I could tell she saw that and dropped the conversation.

"What was that thing you were holding?" I asked. I felt I must know more about this, thing.

"Its a lightsaber. The preferred weapon of a Jedi." She told me, moving her robe a bit to show me the handle of said weapon. A lightsaber.

I only nodded as we approched other dealer table, one that looked much like the one we were just at.

"Master Qui-Gon!" Alondria yelled. I looked up to see who she was yelling at and saw three people and a droid. Well two people, the other was a creature I didn't know of.

"Ah Alondria, I said don't be to long." A man with long hair said. I'm guessing he's master Qui-Gon. Who names their kid master?

"Well I got a bit caught up in something Master." Alondria answered mentioning to me. I gave a short, awkward wave and was give a smile by Master Qui-Gon and a girl a little older than I.

"Well, you are?" Master Qui-Gon asked me, kneeling down to my height. "Briste." I answered.

"Ah Briste. I'm Qui-Gon Jinn." He introduced himself. So his name isn't Master.

"I'm Padme." The girl, Padme, said. I nodded giving them all a small smile.

Alondria turned to the blue and white droid, "This is R2-D2." I nodded and laughed when the droid beebed. She then turned to where the creature was. "And this is-"

As we looked, the creature was being pined to the ground by another creature. This one looked familiar, but I never went out much so I wouldn't know who they were.

"Jar Jar." Alondria sighed as she saw this. So the creatures name must be Jar Jar.

The creature pinning Jar Jar down started talking in a language I didn't know. It looked bad, till a young boy with blond hair came up and started talking in the language.

After a few minutes the thing let go of Jar Jar and moved back to his table, taking a dead frog with him.

"Hi." The boy said to Qui-Gon as we approached him. "Hi, there."

"Your buddy here was about to be turned into orange goo. He picked a fight with a Dug, an especially dangerous Dug called Sebulba." The boy told us, well Qui-Gon, while Qui-Gon helped Jar Jar up.

"Mesa haten crunchen. Dad da las ting mesa want." Jar Jar spoke. He talks funny.

"Nevertheless, the boy is right. You were heading into trouble." Qui-Gon told Jar Jar who huffed. "Thanks my young friend." He finished nodding to the boy.

"But-but mesa doen nutten!" Jar Jar yelled, confused by what just happened.

We continued to walk and I saw Alondria and Qui-Gon talking quietly. I wonder what their talking about. I hope its not me.

"So you must be an Angel!" I heard the boy exclaim. I looked up, expecting the boy to be talking to Padme or even Alondria, but his eyes were fixed on me.

Confused by his statement I asked, "what?"

"An Angel! There the most beautiful creatures ever, I asked Padme is she was no and she said no so you must be one." He told me. I gave a small smile looking down trying to hide my blush. I've never been complimented before.

I shook my head, "I'm not an Angel." I confirmed. He sighed and I looked up at him. He looks like he doesn't believe me.

"Well, I'm Anakin." He said and I nodded smiling at him again. "Briste."
