Words shot from a cannon
Crashes into the sky
The sounds of beating drums are in my head
Tossing and turning in my bed
A civil war breaks out
Emotions are running high
Fogging up the hard skull
Evil pirates striking a nerve
Logic was swallowed up by quick sand
Stripping down to a sports bra
They took my confidence as a prison of war
And completely shattering it
Making me forget the person I was
And the person I was meant to be
Cousins says, "Death is not the greatest lost in life.
