Summer days are going away
Sweet kissing before the season ends
Your lips taste like lemonade
Only making me want you more

Beating so fast and furious
that we forgot the real world was creeping up on us.
Remember laying under the sunset
Watching that smile stretch as far as the horizon.

and I was totally cool with that
The endless talking on the roof
Talking about the party under us
Crazy to think that
We could stuff a whole bag of marshmallows in our mouths
Thinking that if we jump off
Gravity would spare us.
We were just crazy
Crazy in love
But summer is almost over
Got to snap right back into reality.
