Been on a shelf for years
Hiding away
Blending in with all the other hard covers
But desperately wanting to be taken out
Waiting for someone to open the pages
His gorgeous eyes slayed all the demons and dragons
Saving a girl that was trapped inside of her world
Each word leaves a stain on his fingers as he caresses them
Nose in the books
How is he in control?
Teeth sinking into the pages
Sucking up the adverbs
That spark of interest escapes from his mind
Closing the book
Putting it back where it belongs
