Even though I erased you out of my system
You still linger around my mind
Thought it was easy to forget you
Still creeping up from behind
Feeling like a ghost
Remembering the first day of encounter
I saw something in your eyes
It was like magic
When you spoke to me,
I questioned myself:
How could I be worthy of exchanging few words with you?
Always buried myself deep in the books
So noble and full of pride
A man who knows what he wants,
With a winning smile,
Is a man in every girl's dreams.
Don't want to look the other way
But it must be done
Or someone will get hurt
Don't mean to be cruel
And declare your nonexistence in my world
But there's a reason why,
I am scared
and I don't want to waste time investing in this unrealistic fairytale
Getting so close to the danger zone
I think I found my prince charming
But this time I'm leaving not much of a glass slipper behind
So I can't be found
Feeling so out of place
Because I don't belong in this fairytale.
