Chill out under the sun

Lets turn back the time

And go down memory lane

This might sound kind of lame

But bear with me

It was 4 years ago

You were on stage

And I was in the crowd somewhere

You sang some song about a dog

And played ninja by yourself

It was a pretty epic week

You're the first that I search

When I want to reminisce TT9

A constant replay

After that,

I made it a goal

To find courage to talk to you at TT10

Unfortunately, it took five years to find that courage

The window of opportunity was closing

So I took my chances

Felt like a fan-girl when you signed my T-shirt

That washed away weeks later...

It meant a lot when you said

My poem was good

That's like Tom Brady saying I can play football

Which I can't by the way

I admire your passion for poetry

You've help me pushed my pen

And challenged my brain

You said, "Poetry is all about being yourself.

And that there's no competition in spitting truths"

The answer to a question I ask myself before I dive in,

Which is...
