You are Superwoman.
Strong and independent
Soaring through the sky
piercing through every cloud in sight
never afraid of heights
This Superwoman is gorgeous
Leaving behind her reading glasses
and hiding stretch marks under her belt
Contouring is her best friend
until she starts to sweat it off
Slowly stripping away her secret identity
Taking the "Super" out of Superwoman
is just a woman.
Single woman in a big city,
feeling like a small fish in the ocean.
Sometimes get distracted by handsome men
And secretly, wanting what other people have
Tough on the outside
Pink on the inside
With a shirtless Taylor Lautner poster on her wall
For a moment she feels alone and vulnerable
What if the prince never showed up?
like a flaky Tinder date,
What if Snow White never got that kiss?
Would she lay there and wait for another man to come by and save her?
Or straighten it out with the evil witch
And give Prince Charming the apple instead!!
Besides its men like him who decides
Who's the fairest of them all.
This Superwoman is mighty
She can juggle sexism and racism all at once
Putting self-entitled men in their places
Bringing justice to all female kind.
Be proud of our bodies
Be proud of each other's bodies
Let's celebrate our minds
And share our secrets
No matter what size, shape, color, and class you are
We are all the fairest of them all.
