Chris Pov,

After the doctor put stitches in Lizah's foot and I sang that song to her , They gave her crutches and we came back to the apartment.

The ride here was awkward as hell, she didn't say anything to me and I damn sure didn't utter a word.

As of now I was laying down in our bed watching SpongeBob. The episode when Squidward lied to SpongeBob about liking Krabby patties to be exact. This shit was funny.

When my favorite part was about to come up, Jalizah turned the tv off.

"Hey, my favorite part was coming up ," I whined

"Why haven't you told me you could sing ," she asked

I sighed , it's literally been a hour in a half since we been home and she wanted to wait until my favorite part was about to come on to ask.

"I didn't think it was a huge deal, now can you turn it back on ," I asked with a slight attitude.

"Not a huge deal? Chris your voice is amazing, does anyone know ," she exclaimed

Realizing I wasn't going to be able to finish the episode, I gave her my full attention.

"Come lay down with me ," I spoke.

Using her crutches to maneuver around  to her side of the bed, she placed them against the wall and climbed into the bed.

Not speaking, We both stared up at the ceiling, watching the fan spin. I honestly don't know why I never actually told anyone I could sing, I mean of course my mother knew and people who I attended church with In My young years because I was in the choir, but other than that I never mentioned in.

"The only people that know , is my mother, the people I went to church with and now you ," I answered

"You wouldn't like to be a singer ," she asked

"I don't know, that's unnecessary attention, but then again it's good money, I guess I never actually weighed out the Pros and Cons of it," I said

She nodded understandingly. We continued to lay In silence, instead of it being like earlier, this was more of a comfortable silence.

"Thank you Chris," She spoke softly

I turned to her, searching for what she was thanking me for.

"Why are you thanking me baby girl," I asked

"You're great to me, I was so scared to tell you about my insomnia, because the last thing I wanted from you was to be judged. But you did the opposite of that. You took care of me and shared something about you ." She said tears threatening to fall from her eyes

I pulled her into me and wrapped my arms around her tightly.

"Lizah baby, you can tell me anything. I could never judge you . We are both out here struggling, the last thing we need is to be judging each other and putting each other down." I said kissing her forehead

Jalizah pov,

I instantly felt bad.

I really had him thinking I was out here struggling to live , when in reality I'm the daughter of one of the biggest producers out here and one of the best real estate agents out here also.
