Rey's Point Of View

On my way back to Hoth I couldn't help but to cry. I don't know how I could have left him.
I should have stayed with him.
Now Ben could die in hours.

Climbing out of the ship I ran to go underground to tell them all what had happened. I passed Poe again in the hallway.
He smiled and continued walking not asking about my frantic state.
I guess he didn't care.

"LUKE please help they kept Ben and their going to kill him" I said as I ran towards him.

"You guys shouldn't have went you were not ready yet" he said.

I stood there in silence not knowing what words to say. Didn't he care about his nephew.

As he started to walk away I went with him
"Please we can't let him die."
"Don't you care about him he has no one left"

When he stopped he still had his back towards me "You didn't care enough for him when you got pregnant with someone else's child."

That stung.
Suddenly a shock went all over my body and I stood their paralyzed.
He was right.

"Your his uncle you have to help him" I said.

"I'm not going to risk all of the people here for him when I told him not to go" he said.

It was out of my hands and there was nothing I could do.

One year later

It had been one year since I saw Ben last.
We had still been hiding out underground excluded from the outside. We had gained much more help from different parts of the Galaxy. We now had 2,000 more recruits.

Sitting inside the hospital room my contractions were becoming unbearable.
People were disgusted by me. Since they had found out I was pregnant and it wasn't Ben's I received hate. I didn't want Poe to receive the backlash of being the father of my child.
So I told him to keep it a secret. Now that it was getting closer and closer to the birth he was getting more agitated at me.

"I want them to know I am the father you know that I don't care what they say" he said while taking my hand.

"Poe just wait until this is over then you can tell everyone" I said.

He let go of my hand and stood up "Ben is dead you know he is."

"No, he is still alive" I said.

I hoped that he still was...
Since I had left him Poe and me constantly fought.
Poe knew that I loved him.
We weren't even married.
I barely knew anything about Poe either.

The nurse came in.

"Rey it looks like you're ready to go" she said.

"Do you want to stay here and welcome the child or leave and go fly your little fighter jet" I said.

His face turned red and I could see it upset him.

"I'm only staying here for our kid" he said.

As I pushed and pushed the baby came out quickly.
Overall it was an easy birth.

"Wow I haven't seen a birth that quickly then over a thousand years ago" the nurse said while cutting the cord.

"What is it" I said

It was a girl...

"She is absolutely beautiful" the nurse said while she cleaned her up.

Poe wrapped her in a blanket and brought her to me.

"Rey what do you want to name her" he said.

I thought long about the name there were so many that I loved.

"Dreama"

Poe looked at me and started laughing.

"Don't you think that's an odd name" he said.

"No I thought it was different" I said while holding her little body in my arms.

"Okay Dreama Dameron" he said.

"Middle name Rain" I said.

"Why Rain" he said.

"Because there was no rain in Jakku and I have yet to see any" I said.

Dreama Rain Dameron.

She was so tiny and was really a pretty baby.
I'm not boasting but I knew Poe would have a good looking child.
I never imagined it would be with me.
Dreama cried all night long and I fed her constantly.
Something was wrong with her.
In the morning I woke up and realized she was not in the room.

She was gone and so was Poe.

Ben's Point Of View

A year I had been held in captivity.
I lost all hope that they would come back for me.
Snoke had tortured me.
The dark side was slowly entering my body again.
Rey probably had her baby right now...
I wondered if it was a girl.
For some reason I believed that it was.
Since she left me I had forgiven her for what she did. I knew if I wanted to survive in here I would have to learn to forgive her.
The memory of my mother and father kept me from completely going insane.
Snoke had tried to convince me to turn to the dark side again.
Each time I had resisted him.
He would torture me everyday.
I couldn't take it any longer.
I was about to turn back into the dark.
Tonight was the last night if they didn't come by the morning I would be changed once again.
